Sony clearly had the largest showcase of New ajd incentive games. Not remaking PS2 games like Xbox and Nintendo.

From Sony's State of Play, Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered and Rayman Legends Retold were covered, which are a remastered version and remake of PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 era games. They themselves may not be developing those games, but they prioritized them in their presentation.

Neither of those games are their first party exclusives nor were they even remotely prioritized. How were they prioritized? Idk what you mean. Wolverine was 1st in the presentation and allocated like 15x more time had commentary and all and I never stated Sony doesn't do the things I distain. They do. I simply said they had more incentive fresh ideas this go around because they centered their first party franchises around new ideas. Wolverine and Lauffey New games. Nintendos two big pushes are both remade legacy games one was completely unnecessary. And Xbox is a dead body rehashing the same old formula but did slightly better because at least Gears is new and named appropriately.  But Halo? Seriously?   You gotta grasp to say Sony didnt have more original content displayed this year.  (Excluding 3rd party)

Perhaps "prioritized" was the wrong word to use, but the games I mentioned certainly were given ample time in a relatively short presentation with only so many open slots available for announcements.

My post wasn't arguing that Sony had more or less "original" announcements—it was pointing out that all three major companies conduct the same business practices that you were specifically criticizing Nintendo for to varying and fluctuating degrees. The same practices can be found quite recently from Sony with titles like the aforementioned Horizon Forbidden West Remastered alongside Days Gone Remastered, Death Stranding: Director's Cut, Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut, The Last of Us Part I, and The Last of Us Part II Remastered which are, needless to say, all first-party published titles.

Anyone else think that kid Link looks super weird?  The photorealism is doing him no favors.

To some degree, yes, but only when seeing how Link appears during actual gameplay will we be able to know how uncanny the visual style really is. The only shot of Link in this specific trailer even draws out a creepy, voyeuristic feel which certainly is doing no favors.

I'm less bothered by the more realistic take they are going with if that's the plan, but yeah the proportions feel a tad off, at least in that shot they had, it's abit more person with dwarfism than kid, but need a better shot of something actually ingame to say for sure.

This talk about Switch 2 only having or showing remakes is kinda strange to me, considering the OoT remake was only a 1:38 trailer. The Star Fox trailer was only 0:42, and Switch Sports Resort (is it even a remake? or is it a sequel? I dunno I haven't played the other ones tbh) was 2:27.

But in the same presentation there was a trailer for the new Rhythm Heaven which lasted 2:55, the new Fire Emblem which lasted 2:47, Xenoblade Genesis at 2:34, Dusk Bloods for 1:02, and Splatoon Raiders for 2:59. From a first party perspective, the majority of the games covered were new titles, and they got a bigger time share of the presentation.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the conversation but from my perspective the Switch 2 presentation had no shortage of new first party titles to look forward to. As opposed to the SoP, which only showed off Wolverine, God of War and Phantom Blade 0 (which isn't even a console exclusive, it's also coming to steam and supposedly coming to Xbox at a later date cause it is only a timed exclusive).
