My latest CD purchases:

-Dark Tranquility - Manifesto of Dark Tranquility
-Deathstars - Termination Bliss
-Omnium Gatherum - Spirits and August Light
-Disarmonia Mundi - Mind Tricks

I REALLY wanted Omnium Gatherum's album Red Shift. But the cheapest I could find it was over $200!!! WTF?!

Red Shift was released by Candlelight Records.  Omnium isn't with them anymore so that album is out of print.

How upset would you be if I told you I just picked this up for around 14 bucks.   :-\

Jealous, though.

I got it from Amazon.  I will keep an active eye out for the album.  If I find it low again I'll snag it and let you pick it up from me.

Thanks.

Amazon is where I actually saw the price at over $200. I couldn't find a copy on eBay or Half.com when I looked.

If you like In Flames, you'll love Disarmonia Mundi. Give them a try, despite their strange name (trust me):

Here's a link to the full album I'm currently listening to that I recently bought, and I freaking LOVE from beginning to end:

Disarmonia Mundi: Mind Tricks:

And here's a link to the single off of that album, same name as the album title:

I used to love this cover when it first came out:

I never saw the video before, though. I didn't know that Quan Chi from Mortal Kombat was the lead singer:

I got to see my favorite band in concert this weekend. A7X!
Avenged Sevenfold
Deftones
and Ghost

Avenged put on an awesome show with a badass stage. Check it out on YouTube. They mixed some new with the old. I enjoyed the heck out of it. I think that is the 10th time seen them.
Chino was noticeable F'd up but still put on a pretty good show. The crowd wasn't super into it, but it was fun.
Ghost. What can I say. They sound good musically. They have a stage presence. It was the creepiest shit I've ever seen. I've seen Rob Zombie, would love to see Manson; but this shit creeped me out. I think the rest of the crowd was a little put off too.  Their equipment messed up during the last song and the crowd cheered.

Seconded!

Could be staring at my own, old collection of cassettes...if I still had anything that's not on a CD  :o

I have CDs and records too but I enjoy listening to tapes at home. Records not so much because they are too annoying. Keep having to get up to flip it over or deal with it skipping. CDs I just listen to in the car.
