If not it might be worth getting on your radar since you're a fan of the books. I've seen a tutorial for Wrath of Ashardalon which seems really similar gameplay-wise, it looks like a possibly fun co-op game.


... And man those Super Dungeon Explore minis are really cool.

We are playing a full game of SDE tomorrow! I can't wait. Unfortunatly, I haven't had time to finish painting the base set, so we'll be playing a mostly unpainted game. hah

And ya, I've been looking at that Legend of Drizzt game and want it badly. I'll need to see if I can swing is soon. Might be a bit though, since I just bought 2 copies of the new SDE hero and the last 2 mini-expacs I needed for SDE too.

After a week of being ordered and "processing" I finally got my Rocktop Gang, Fireflow Denizens. I also pulled a Disgaeniac and bought x2 Nyan Nyan heroes, people are going nuts over her and she's supposed to be a Limited Edition mini, so I figure I'd get two and see if she jumps in price like Candy and Cola did.

Cool Mini or Not is pretty crap about letting you know your order shipped. I literally got the shipment confirmation after I walked in the door w/ the packages in hand.

Also I picked up The Last Threshold too.

Just got 7 Wonders (a card drafting board game) with both expansions, Walk the Plank (some board game from Kickstarter where you "program" your dudes' movements) and Dungeon Roll (a solo dice game that happens to be playable with other players if you want to be bored for a while waiting for your turn.. also from Kickstarter).

This board game shelf is starting to look pretty good (there's a couple abstract games missing from this shot).

Nice. I don't know what it is, but a lot of people I know are really starting to get into board gaming a lot at the moment.

Also, desocietas picked me up a copy of Tentacle Bento at PAX. And I'm eyeballing the last Raid deck I need for the WoW TCG.

There's a variety of elements. A lot of REALLY good games have been coming out in the last few years, there's more and more people talking about games in general, and there's Wil Wheaton.

For me, I've been into board games for a while, but never really bought any or really looked at what was in the market beyond abstract games and whatever I played with friends. This year though I just got this moment where I thought about board games a lot and started looking into it some more, getting some games I played in the past and new games I learned about in videos and such.

Ya my sis has been really into Wheaton's YouTube series and has found a bunch of games to try on there.

For me it was cause of my buddy's massive collection and Reaper's ks. If I hadn't backed it, I wouldn't have discovered Relic Knight and in turn SDE. Which lead me to Guilds of Cadwallon and others.

Very nice!  A friend brought over Smash Up last night, but we didn't get around to it.  It's really fun though.  Our latest game addiction has been Pandemic, but damn is that game not brutal (in the addictive, one-more-time kinda way.)

My sis picked up the updated version of Pandemic. Its pretty good. I wouldn't mind picking up the expansion and see what the mutating viruses are all about.

Some people say Pandemic isn't complete if you don't have at least the first expansion. I haven't played it myself but it does sound really cool.

So I added more games to my collection.

Got an expansion for Cosmic Encounter, basically just to get a sixth player (and a bunch more alien powers, yay!).
Evo, a sort of area control game where you evolve dinosaurs in constantly-changing climate, and a bidding mechanic. It's made by the guy who made Small World, and it's quite fun.
Finally, Lords of Waterdeep, which is a DnD-based worker placement game. There's an episode of Wil Wheaton's youtube show about it, it gives a small idea about how it works. Seems fun.

I'll just note this geeklist on boardgamegeek, it's for an online store which sells some games for a pretty good price, and also, at least for Canada, free shipping and no taxes.

Might be worth checking out That's where I got Lords of Waterdeep for 38$ (instead of the usual 45$+tax+shipping).

Finally was able to get the final World of Warcraft TCG raid deck. This one is based on the Caverns of Time instances and it's pretty sweet. It doesn't seem to be based on any particular instance and is more an amalgamation of the locale as a whole.



Also for grins. Here is the entire set of Raid and Dungeon decks.



And finally all of my Hero decks, with sleeves matching their in-game Raid UI colors (nerd!) But, I've noticed it makes the game easier to clean up.



Still kinda sad that the game is no longer being published. But I know I'll get years of play time out of these things, for sure.
