If it still reads CDs, it should still play PS1 games, then. You can use it for that, at least. And a few PS2 games are CD-ROM, even. I'm sure there's an online list of them, somewhere. I know a shoot-em up or two I have on PS2 is CD-ROM.

I don't think I have any PS2 CD games I'd like to play right now. I have a few PS1 systems, I'd rather use those to play my PS1 games. Maybe I'll actually play Grandia without it crashing all the time.

Yeah, I have a Film Aficionado list, too. When I saw that rateyourmusic had both, I was hoping to just have 1 website for both. Especially since Film Aficionado's website gets REALLY annoying to navigate with the way everything pops-up at you.

I'm pretty sure you can turn off those popups, but I don't remember how.

I absolutely loved Amalur. The only part that sucked is that it eventually ended. I could have played that game for months and months. Also if you like that style of play, check out Diablo III. Im still playing it.

Out of those - I'd definitely recommend Lunar.

That said, I *AM* partial to turn-based/old-school type of games...

Sounds cool...for those that have a PS3. I don't, unfortunately.

Kind of strange they're releasing it for a PlayStation console when originally it was a GameCube exclusive. It's almost a slap in the face to those Nintendo fans.
