Welp, I'm probably going to be worthless tomorrow. :-\ My dog Yuna hurt her eye Memorial Day weekend. We took her to the vet that following Tues. and he gave us some cream to put in it, but it hasn't helped. Talked to a guy I work with this past Monday who breeds dogs & told him what vet I went to and he said he didn't use them because they weren't that great, and he gave me the name of one he recommends. So my wife made her an apt. & took her this afternoon. She's going to have to have surgery on the eye, and they're going to keep her overnight and do it tomorrow morning. She's about 11-12 years old now and has never been left at a vet or kennel overnight, so I'm worried about her.

If I could, I'd take off work tomorrow so I could be the one to pick her up (she was my dog before my wife and I met, she follows me around the house like a shadow) but unfortunately my co-worker is on vacation this week so I'm the only one here. :(

My rottie is named Shadow for exactly that reason...no joke!

Best of luck with Yuna's recovery, Greg...
After researching, the name I was thinking of was Interceptor. Also, may have been more of a German shepherd/mix.

In any case... Best of luck, argyle!

Please check out the games I have for sale.

Today is depressing. My feed is filled with Turf adding Game Boy Advance games left and right! :(

Yeah. I keep finding them around the house. I haven't bought all of these lately. I just never added them to my collection. I think I'm done though, until I find another box with some in it.

I'm sorry to hear about your dog, argyle! I'm sure she's okay there, and I'm sure the operation will go well. :)

Yuna came through ok. :) My wife says she's a little groggy but seems fine otherwise. Now I'm ready to go home so I can see her! :D

Also, I just saw a listing for an N64 bundle on craigslist - I don't know much about N64 pricing. I'm somewhat interested in picking up a N64 - anyway, what would be a good price to offer for this (assuming everything's in good condition):

System w/ 4 controllers & all cables

*007: The World Is Not Enough
Super Mario 64
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
*Mission Impossible
*Mike Piazza's Strike Zone
Bomberman Hero

* = games I have zero interest in, would probably try to resell them as a bundle on ebay

Didn't even read the list of games in your post!

So glad that your puppy came through everything so well, Greg.

Take the night off from gaming & just snuggle with, spoil & make Yuna the center of everyone's attention ;D

What do you guys think of edutainment systems? Systems like LeapFrog, VTech Smile, Leapster, and Sega Pico.

Do they count as a real gaming consoles? Do you collect them? Do you enjoy them?

My personal opinion is no they dont count. I had a vtech for the kids at one time and I must admit, it had very good graphics and made learning seem like a real video game. I look at them as education toys but not game systems. That's just my personal opinion.

I dont mess with edutainment systems. I do know that on Sega Age to get a "Sega system" icon, the Pico is required.

I had a Pico several years back that I had found in a yard sale somewhere, but I ended up giving it away because I considered it more a toy than a console.
