Meaning that, if you were to spell "Izanami" backwards (in Japanese), it would *not* spell the same thing that it does in English.

I'm in Chapter 8 of Atelier Shallie. This is probably the best chapter in the game so far because there is so much to do.

Did anyone here play Asura's Wrath? I got it as a birthday gift. I'm all about trying different games, but isn't this the game that requires you to buy a ton of DLC in order to actually get the full game? Or am I thinking of something else?

I adore Asura's Wrath, it's completely bonkers and VERY over-the-top. Just a blast to play. There is some DLC that adds a couple of chapters, and I hear they're good, but I have never played them. So you can totally enjoy the game w/ just what's on the disk.

I was also happy to hear about the new Tales announcement, but I keep hoping that they'll confirm the rumored PS4 port of Zesteria. Maybe at E3?

I'm sorry, I'm also going to ruin your theory  but Izanami is part of a Japanese folklore story. Also, the swastika is actually a symbol of good luck in asian countries, and is still mostly regarded as such today. Therefore, it's just a happy (?) coincidence that those things fit I always find it funnier when such things occur by themselves, though.

I think the thing I'm most excited about with the new Tales game is that it features a woman as the main character. I know that Xillia had Milla, but it also let you start with Jude and the overall plot was the same.

This time, it's her story.

Who's playthrough did you do 1st, kash - Shallie's or Shallote's?

I'm glad to hear & read that you seem to be enjoying it a whole lot more than Escha + Logy...although - that, in & of itself, isn't really saying all that much

Any recommendations and/or advantages concerning who's story you do 1st?

How & what is the platinum looking like?
