Well, my mom (the American) is making ham. We don't like turkey. Plus it's stupid expensive. Mashed potatoes w/gravy, these little bread thingies, cheese cake.

Of course, my brother (the other American) will likely come over with his wife and daughters to have dinner with us.

Tomorrow: Ham overload.

PSA: If you make cheesecake and think it's a good idea to use La Lechera condensed milk with 50% less sugar... don't.

We tried baking the cheesecake and the damn thing BOILED inside the oven!

PSA: If you make cheesecake and think it's a good idea to use La Lechera condensed milk with 50% less sugar... don't.

We tried baking the cheesecake and the damn thing BOILED inside the oven!

Yeah...I've done something similar with cookies. Nothing like an oven fire!!!

On a side note, if you use pumpkin pie filling that requires 2 eggs and some evaporated milk, switch the evaporated for sweetened condensed milk and the pie is totally amazing.

Reminds me of a girl that I lived with in my twenties, who, worked at a store in one of her local malls, that was (*Seriously*) called:

"Corn-Dog-On-A-Stick"

Oh yeah, we totally have Hot Dog on a Stick out in our malls... everyone knows their workers have to wear ridiculous outfits and, um, do weird gestures when they're squeezing the lemons for lemonade and dunk the hot dogs in the batter.

Is Hot Dog on a Stick still in business? I used to work in a local mall (was a manage for Orange Julius and an attendant at Alladin's Castle) and I used to eat lunch every day there. They left the mall 5-6 years ago and Ive been trying to fill my cheese on a stick fill at the fair every year since. I even bought a fryer and tried to learn to make them myself but I never figured out what they did that I didnt and they never really turned out the same. If they are still around where you are, you are lucky!

Ha! in the discription it states that it is video from Caldwell Id wal-mart, I live like 15 min from that Wal-mart. Guess it was a good thing I didn't hit any sales this morning.
