Sometimes watching stuff like this motivates me to try games & genres that I normally would have written off as 'not playable 1-handed'; w/o ever really looking into them.

Like new Char's Custom (red) Gamecube with matching controller and game boy player. Heavily used GameCube NR Reader. New in the box Famicom Robot (R.O.B.)
It's driving me nuts. I don't know what I want more. Any opinions on what I should get?

If I was making a choice, I would go with ROB. A custom Gamecube is something you could have done at any time ... and a beat up item vs a brand new item? No contest.

I think you need a NA disc for NA gameboy games, since the discs are region-locked.

It's a JP GameCube, so a JP boot disc is needed to use it without modifying the GameCube. Any GB/GBC/GBA games will work on it though. The Game Boy Player itself is region-free just like any handheld from the Game Boy line.
