They don't sell diabetes.  Just like gas stations don't sell cancer, it's just a potential byproduct of use or overuse.

Please don't misunderstand me.  I have great respect for Japan.  When New Orleans was hit a few years ago, even the cops were in Walmart stealing TV's.  It was looting all over.  When the tsunami hit Japan and the Fukushima reactors melted down, not one bit of looting.  Everyone came together. 

But there is a lot of weird stuff that comes out of Japan.  Stuff that never is seen in America.  I've watched, browsed, scanned and looked for more than my fair share of weirdness on the internet.  But I have to say, Japan is the only place that I have seen make tentacle porn, surprise bukake, automatic sperm collecting machines for donors and panty shots in nearly every single cartoon they produce.

Haha yeah there are some, but they are illegal. Yes, there is a law specifically for that  I didn't mean to say that they aren't weird at all, because they definitely have their quirky things. Very much so. I just think it's a bit sad when people think that they're just a bunch of crazy people, just because all they've seen from Japan was the craziest, most extreme of the weird that can come from them.

It's pretty easy nowadays, with the internet and whatnot, to forget what the majority really is like. We are bombarded all the time by things, and if people want to catch our attention they go for the extreme, since the mundane is just "meh" to our attention. Not that it's good or bad, it's just the truth we live in right now!

...okay, I'm removing the serious hat and going back to play with toy ponies now.
