The beginning of a new & beautiful relationship?   :o

Got my 1st "We're going to be tossing out a bunch of cases & manuals that will be left (covered) in a box next to one of our dumpsters; should you be interested, sweety" texts from my friendly, neighborhood GS manager last night!

I should say that I should be interested indeed  ;D

Thats awesome man! This is the girl that flirts with you cause you know me, right?  8)

Absolutely...I'm a 'substitute' only because you're so far away  :D

It sounds like a good start... sweety.

Or maybe she fat fingered it and was trying to type "sweaty"   ;D

Very likely!

Irrelevant, really...my girl sees a text of another girl calling me "sweety" or "sweaty"; both equals a Lv. 6 (out of 10) slap  :-\

To those of you familiar with the Tales series, should I finish playing Tales of Symphonia before I play Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World? Or is the order I play them in not particularly important?

I have not played those 2, but I do know that they are 2 of the few in the series where one is a direct sequel to the other, so I would assume you'd need to play them in order.

As for the GS topic - I can see how that would go down with me now.

My wife: "where are you going so late?"
me: "I'm just going to pickup some cases behind Gamestop from the girl that works there."
My wife: "..." *slap* "I don't THINK so!"

Sometimes I ask myself "Why do I care to fool with PC games?"  I have spent that last 3 hours trying to get Watch Dogs to play and run perfectly and the game lags and stutters every 5 seconds.  I had it working for a good 15 minutes and then it froze, and then started every 5 seconds again.  My laptop has above the recommended requirements so I'm not sure what to do...   So much frustration over pc gaming that I'm about done with it
If you have a geforce video card in your laptop, try running geforce experience to optimize the game. Also, nvidia put out new drivers for the video card for that game. Make sure you're running the latest version.

If you're feeling saucy, you can try out "the worse" mod for the game. I hear it helped stuttering a lot for people. Also, makes the game look nicer!

Thanks for the recommendations.  I actually do have the latest Nvidia drivers and it still did not work.  But What's crazy, is I shut down my laptop for like the 5th time, loaded it back up, and the 3rd time when I loaded Watch Dogs, it did some UPlay update and then Watch Dogs started working perfectly fine!  WTF????  I did nothing different and its running fine on all Ultra settings.  I will load it today to see if its still okay.  I think Ubisoft just screwed up this game completely.

Lol, honestly, mine would have too.  She's helped me track down quite a few games and has prevented me from getting rid of some I would have regretted.  Some guys talk about how their girlfriend / wife either can't stand their gaming hobby or just "tolerates" it (and honestly, I know some personally) but I've never understood that.  I'm not saying your sig other has to LOVE what you do, but at least take an interest - I try to do the same w/ my wife's hobbies & interests.  :)

You are all doing it wrong. My wife would ask if she is hot. And if she is decent enough, she would be driving herself. :D

Got my Smash Bros golden coin in the mail! It looks so great, I don't want to touch it with my bare hands so I'm keeping it in the plastic case it came it. Eventually I'll find or make a little stand to display it with both sides available to see, when I have a big glass display!

I definitely recommend completing the first one before moving on to Dawn of the New World. Well, if you want to avoid spoilers, at least. Also, you have 2 "choices" for the 8th party member at the end of ToS, depending on if you do a side quest or not. If you miss the side quest, you'll end up with Zelos in the end, otherwise you'll have Kratos. In DotNW, the stories continues as if Zelos was your party member.

Well, glad to hear it's working ok now? Seems like the update that got pushed out fixed your issue lol.

Just in case you're interested, this thread talks about that mod I mentioned. Apparently, it brings back all the stuff from the E3 demo they showed that blew us all away. They apparently took out a lot of things that made the game pretty before release. I never got a chance to try it as I was almost done with the game by the time I heard of it. Right now my game is stuck right before the credits and crashes during the credits so I can't really test it or go free roaming lol.

I didn't know it either until I saw it in a clearance bin at Hastings.  It was $3 or $5 new or something like that.

Nah.  That'll be one of those that comes out when The Boy isn't around.  There's no way I can get him to leave me alone long enough to do trivia.

That pin you were talking about is a Smash Bros coin.  Mine is coming with my preorder of the WiiU version from Best Buy.  I don't know where those silly Canadians are getting them.
