I just remembered why I wouldn't pay $400 for a PS4. There aren't any games I want to play and I'm not a huge fan of paying full price for games.

My internet sucks and this thing wants to use a lot of internet.  its moves super slow. I guess I could turn the WiiU on while I wait.

I am getting one for black friday, my brother helping me and it is consider xmas and bday gift.

So next to get is a 3ds..... or maybe a new gray brick gameboy. since my other one messed up... start it up, and you can hear it, but its black screened, not matter how you turn the switch.... and i am not techy at all

Sounds like the ribbon cable connection from the motherboard to the screen got messed up. There are ribbon cables within the Game Boy that are pretty fragile as they are directly connected to the back of the lcd screen and can disconnect from the LCD if exposed to heat sources. To fix it, you could get a replacement LCD screen, but if you don't have the space or time to fix it, then pick up a another working Game Boy for cheap.
