I remember games being that much, at least the top-shelf games; when it comes to cartridges at least. That was one of the selling points of discs over cartridges; that discs are cheaper to make and that would be passed along to the consumer.

Easy.

That's a Canadian ad (Mattel distributed Nintendo games in Canada.) Guess the Canucks liked the movie a lot.

Yep. Super Mario 1-3 and Dr. Mario have a red circle in the bottom half. That's the Mattel logo.



Also, there's two Nintendo Seal of Quality logos; one's in French.

If there's one thing I love, it's routine. However, my routine yesterday was slightly altered for the better. It's rare for me to go out on a school night, but myself and some friends met up for happy hour at a "trendy" Mexican restaurant. It was hella-fun, mainly because we snagged this swank, lounge area in the upstairs for ourselves. I'm a little tired this morning from all of the good times, but it was so worth it.

It's neat seeing all of these unique places to hang out in this city.

Apparently, so... I asked SoCal folks what they say instead, and they responded with "hecka." I asked them where they thought "hecka" came from - it obviously sounds like a kid-safe version of "hella" to me
