Just picked up my 300th game (as far as I can tell from what I've entered into VGC, at least):



Not really washed out - just my camera being dumb.

The cashier and I laughed about how upon launch this game was trying to make claims that it was just like Professor Layton.  Of course, it is nothing like Professor Layton.  I haven't played it yet, but I'd assume it'd be closer to something like Monster Tale.

I love playing this game, but it is absolutely nothing like Professor Layton.

I'm not usually a fan of platformers, but so far I'm enjoying it!  Block puzzles are not the same as word puzzles, that's for sure.  Figured it'd be a good addition to my collection of "quirky" games

Picked up Chaos Field (GC) and Omega Boost (PS1) this evening.

Yesterday I also picked up Double Dragon II (NES), Final Fight Guy (obviously), and then SSX Tour, Ninja Gaiden, Pariah, Knights of the Old Republic, PGR 2, & Prince of Persia: Sands of Time for the XBOX.

While I'm super excited about finding that copy of Final Fight Guy, I'm admittedly more excited about having a reason to bust out the old XBOX and giving it some love. I think now is about the best time to pick up the great XBOX games on the cheap. The 6 games I listed cost me about $25.00 at a local store. SSX, PGR 2 and Sands of Time were literally $3/game (complete and in very good condition). KOTOR was $10 and Ninja Gaiden was $6 (also complete and in very good condition). I used to hate on the original XBOX quite a bit, but there are plenty of solid games on the system and they're inexpensive. A lot of the multi platform releases are also cheaper on the system than on the PS2 or GC right now.

I like that set - it's pretty sweet

I've just got the 'vanilla'-version, and, tbqh, didn't even know/remember that it *HAD* an LE/CE.

Was that PAL/Europe only, or worldwide?

Yes it is only available in the EU i think.
It's called twisted edition.
You can find it on amazon.co.uk, i bought it there.

Thanks!  Thankfully not.  Both stickers came off easily, and condition seems to be mint for the most part (and was being stored behind the desk for some reason).  Was out with my mom at the time, and she suggested that we hunt it down after finding that it'd already been sold out at the branch near her residence.  Thank goodness for moms!

Added a few new things to my DQ collection. A Japanese DQVII poster, a 5 piece Slime marker set, a pen with a floating slime on the inside, and a DS slime theme carrying case. Waiting on one more item to arrive and going to take pics of the whole set.

Just got my Club Nintendo playing cards in the mail! They're pretty cool, kinda thin feeling though and they didn't ship out a "thank you" card with it this year, strange. Oh and it's not shrink wrapped, so their is no such thing as "factory sealed" on these.

Got a few genesis games from a co-worker today a few duplicates of what I already had Sonic, Sonic 2 and Mortal Kombat. but also MTV's Beavis & Butt-head and Krusty's Super Fun House, all 5 are Complete. Not bad for FREE.
