...must...not...make...your mom joke.

Seriously, it's the Game Genie/Gameshark.

I like never cheat anymore. But back when I was a kid and teenager, all the freaking time! And Game Genies and Gamesharks were my best friend.

Hrmm, definitely an interesting topic. Atm, my favorite accessory would have to be my LCD screen on my PS1. It actually lets me play my system.

This is a little broad. Could you narrow it down a little?  Are we talking controller or something else?  There are a ton of different types of accessories.

Action Replay 4m Plus for Saturn. Allowing me to easily play imports.

Circle pad Pro for 3DS. Allowing me to play RE:Rev with dual analog sticks.

Classic Controller Pro for wii. Letting me play xenoblade and other w/o dealing with goofy control schemes.

Light Boy for GB. Spent years attached to my GB allowing for night time playing during car trips and sneaky late night gaming when I shoulda been sleeping.
Now Playing: Persona 5 Scramble, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8

I love the power glove for it's size and general uselessness!

I also loved my Game Genie for the NES and SNES, nothing like jumping over the pole in SMB and just running until you die :)

Hmm.. that is tough, I agree with Scott on the action replay but I also really really like the Saturn 3D controller, and the PS1 Flight stick

While it didn't do much for the gaming experience, I haven't experienced accessory joy equivalent to opening my Steel Battalion controller.  When you power up the mech for the first time, and all of the lights under the buttons cycle on.  Ooh.  Gave me goosebumps.

Ive seen those a few times. I could imagine what a person that likes that genre of game would feel like playing with that. I guess it would be the equivalent of me playing Dragon Warrior in a full suit of armor. :)

If it happens, we need pictures.
