I just ran a query to see the most popular game on the site and was a bit surprised by the results. I thought it'd be fun to challenge you guys to see if you could come up with it. Have a look around and check out the user counts and see if you can find the most collected game. If someone doesn't find it, i'll post the top 5 list here in a few days.

I'm thinking Super Mario Bros. 3, Legend of Zelda, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 have to be up there.

... but yeah, I think @brettybluevein is leaning towards the right direction.

I dunno, I bet a Pokemon game makes the list. Also probably some classic RPG, we all seem to enjoy them. Maybe Chrono Trigger or Mario RPG?

Super Mario 64 - 74 users
Legend of Zelda, The (Gold Cartridge - 3 Screw Cartridge) - 73 users
Super Mario Bros. 3 (Bros. above Mario's Head) - 71 users
Final Fantasy X - 68 users
GoldenEye 007 - 66 users
pokemon games seem to not be as high as I thought they would be.

I honestly thought that Super Mario/Duck Hunt would be one of the highest, being the main pack-in for the NES for years. Between the two variants, there is about 100.
The highest count I can find right off is Super Mario Bros. 2 with 84 users

Remember, the query doesn't figure variants as 1 game. So the question would be, more like, "most popular item"
