This was an embarrassing day as far as game pick ups go.  I need to keep my impulse buying in check from now on.  As far as it goes I will never set foot in that shop again.

The good (SNES)
Battletoads in Battlemaniacs - $2.50
Primal Rage - $2.50

The ugly, really, really, ugly
Mechassault (Xbox) - $10
Def Jam Fight for NY (Xbox) - $10
Stellar Fire (Sega CD) - $15

Total for these 3 was $35, I thought it was off.  When I got home I checked the prices and realized they are worth about $7 for all three together.  So yeah, I'm mad at myself.

Karma catching up with me on some of the awesome deals I have stumbled into I guess.

Haha, yeah, days like these happen. At least you got a great deal on Battletoads in Battlemaniacs, it's a really good game.

As a general rule, I don't like paying more than 5-7$ for games that I'm not sure about the value.

Today I let the American half of me run wild, so I bought a gun.

A Nuby Sniper Gun for the PS1. Supposedly it has a vibration feature, so I figured, why not? It also has a plug for the A/V Cable though, not sure what's up with that. $3 ($5 including the CDs.)

Just a single pickup today but I'm really happy to finally have it:
Halo: Combat Evolved for the Xbox - 2.50
I have been looking for this one locally for about 2 years and I just haven't found a copy or when I have it has been massively over priced. Glad to finally have Halos 1-3

@foxhack The A/V cable connects to the audio, that’s how it detects when to vibrate

I still haven't tested the gun, but I'll try to do it over the weekend.

And today's finds.

Black Fire, Impact Racing for Saturn: $2 each. (Ignore the CDs.)

Fighting Masters (Genesis), Action Replay (Genesis), Mort the Chicken (PS1), Super Monkey Ball (GC) - about $10. I plan on reselling Monkey Ball to make back some of the money.

Yep, that's it. Apparently they decided to make a reprint, hence why the price went down, hard. :P

Got my copy of Final Fantasy XIII-2 today! Pretty fun so far. I'm one of the few who actually liked XIII and this is very much the same but with a new leveling system and a few upgrades to the battle system which are very welcome... and you can talk to NPCs now, WHOA... makes you wonder why people complained about not being able to talk to NPCs in the first game, it's so pointless :P
