My dad gave me some birthday money a few days early, so I used it to buy Sega Ages 2500 Vol.30: Galaxy Force II Special Extended Edition :D Bless him, still keeping his daughter gaming even now ;)

Naomi collecting and Sega Ages: Galaxy Force II... pat yourself on the back because you are awesome.

Nice! Battalion Wars 2 looked pretty cool, from the videos I'd seen of it awhile back.

Why so cheap, though? Flea market?

Actually it was at EB Games, they are doing a massive clearance in Canada right now.

My Neogeo X Gold came in today. Yeah, this thing is pretty badass. I haven't got to spend a lot of time with it yet, but Metal Slug is awesome. It was worth the price of admission. After The Boy goes to bed, I'll spend a little more time with it.

I recently went out and bought a new surge protector. It is a major improvement because it allows me to hook up my tower of power (3 brick AC adapters), saturn, dreamcast, Xbox, 360, TV, Audio Receiver, and Audio mixer. It's nice not having to unplug everything to play the SEGA CD.

I also finally bought a Audio extension so I can connect the composite audio to the receiver and not the TV.

Next on my list is to buy some SCART (RGB) cables for the Genesis and Saturn along with a SCART to component converter to connect to US televisions. Then the VGA cables for the Dreamcast with a VGA to HDMI or component converter. Then, I should have my setup the way I want.

Went on a bit of a buying spree of Sega Master System stuff...

Cloud Master
Enduro Racer
Miracle Warriors
Monopoly
Parlour Games
Shanghai
Space Harrier
World Grand Prix

And a box for my Aztec Adventure. Also have the following on order:

Kenseiden
Poseidon Wars 3-D
Rampage
Slap Shot
Sports Pad Football
Super Tennis
Walter Payton Football
And two Sega Sports Pad controllers.

Also managed to find a boxed X Band modem for the Genesis. Always wanted one of those and a Mega Mouse after reading about them in Sega Visions Magazine.  ;D

I've been picking up a few things here and there. I found a pretty good deal on a PS2 Slim today (which I've never owned). It was all there for $15.00. Not a bad deal IMO.

I've heard you can still get those XBand modems to work if you coordinate with someone else who has one. Apparently, these just dialed directly if desired. There are some youtube videos of it. Neat if true. Xband would have lasted longer then XBox Live.

I had never heard that before, that's pretty cool. I'll have to see where mine is hiding at.

Sweet! I'll have to give it a whirl once it comes in. I wonder if it will work over a VOIP phone line? The fax machine does, so I don't see why this wouldn't...
