Ya, I can't wait until they are all done and ready to go.

But in sorting them all out, I seem to have lost my loose copy of F-1 Race... hmm. Maybe it's in one of the display Game Boys.

Those do look really nice.  But I would think getting them printed out at Staples/Kinko's would be cheaper than buying ink & printing them yourself.  I ditched my color printer years ago because of that very reason - recently I went to Kinko's & printed out a DVD case insert for my Gamecube GBA player boot disk, so I could put it on the shelf w/ the GC games and have it match.  It only cost a few cents to print it out - next to nothing, really.

Thats what I plan to do. I just need Scott to make me some designs. I already have a design for Zelda Seasons/Ages, Metroid II, Link's awakening, and Kid Icarus. Once I get all the ones I want, Im going to flash drive them and have Office Depot print them out.

Hmm. I feel the need to do a tally on how many covers I can print off on a single set of cartridges. Currently, just on paper alone I am at $.10 per cover, since I can get 2 out of a page.

Personally with these small covers I felt fine with printing them off myself. Part of the reason was that I am more of a DIY'r and I can do test prints to make sure things will come out top notch. When I made my first set of DS covers I ended up wasting money because they printed off too small.

You could always do b/w rough prints at home to make sure the sizing is right before taking the files to a printing place.

I don't have any GB/GBC games I don't believe, but I plan on printing some of those DS-case covers for the GBA games I have without boxes.

True. But my sizes were correct. The print tech dicked it all up and printed them in a scaled format.

But part of the reason that I haven't finished making my GBA cases is because I don't feel like running back and forth to Staples to get them printed. Or having to deal with my color balance/ saturation not being correct for laser printing and having to get them reprinted. Or walking into the store and having to explain that they are for personal use every. single. time. It all comes down to being less of a hassle and that I'm an artsy control freak.

That's a brilliant way to store and show off your Game Boy games.  Any way to get a blank of the template use just for the sizing? I can use photoshop to make my own and that would finally get the games out of my drawer lol

Ya I can share the template. I'll have to do it later tonight though, since I'm put with friends right now.

Plus I'll have to modify the template to make it easier to know what's what.

Awesome, thank you.  It'll be fun to work up my own templates for these.  Just need to get some paper that'll be good to use and a bunch of empty cassette cases lol

Did you have somewhere you got casette cases or just found a bunch of used ones in reasonable condition somewhere?  I could possibly find some cheapo's at the flea market tomorrow for them.  Looks like I can get them for a buck a piece for a pack of 25 on Amazon also if I want clean ones.
