So I have noticed a lot more new members. Looks like we got a party on here lol. Question is... Anyone go to conventions, anything like that?? I go to dragoncon. I'd like to go to bitcon but don't have the money:( I wished it was in the summer.

I've only gone to Shadocon for a day in Tampa.  I'd love to be at Dragoncon, but I don't have the funds for traveling out of state when I can't even really afford to another city like Tampa and Metrocon.

Someday I hope to go, I've done some cosplaying abit, but never had anything big to take my two costumes too.

Minus the three years I was in Japan, I've gone to Anime Expo every year since 2000. (2000-2008, 2012-) I've gone to a few other anime cons as well, and went to Anime Conji in 2012 pretty much JUST to participate in their anime swap meet. I still have tons of crap to sell. ^^;

I've cosplayed since 2000, although I currently only have 3 costumes that would fit right now, 2 anime, 1 movie (Thorin from the Hobbit.) I'm thinking of doing a day at Wondercon next month, so I've got to FIX Thorin if I'm going to do that. I'm trying to figure out a new anime costume for AX this year...

I really wanna go to Anime North someday, but for now I have to keep it to Otakuthon. It's still great, though; I never have enough time in a week-end to see everything I want to see! And I love getting me some goodies there :)

Last year I was at the Chiller Theater expo and New York Comic Con a few years Before that I went to Anime Next. This year I'm hoping to go back to Anime Next and I'm most likely going back to Chiller and NYCC.

I live in the middle of the country and there just aren't any shows I'm aware of that aren't at least a 10-12 hour drive away, so I've never been to one.

Sucks that the small one that usually happens around now for a day couldn't get the day they wanted and are skipping it completely till the fall.  It's very tiny, but it was always fun and easy to drive to.

I don't go to most cons, I just look like an old creep since the local ones are full of young people.
