Site Getting Hung-Up After Sign-In

After I sign in the site just sits there, hanging. But when I reload the page, I am already signed in.

It's actually always done this to me.  I've just gotten so used to it that I naturally refresh immediately

It's the feed. It has a ton of information that it processes and causes it to seem like it's hanging up. It's actually processing the page. Matt had said that he's been looking into a solution for it for awhile now and can't wrap his head around how to speed it up. :\

It's always taken a couple seconds for me. But today it just wasn't happening, period.
