Question for anyone who owns Final Fantasy III for the DS:  Is the spine of the case perfectly white, or is it slightly...I guess brownish towards the bottom?  Picked up a used copy in really good shape today at GS, but I'm not sure if the case is supposed to be this way or not.  If it's not, it's going back.  ;)

Its supposed to be brownish I guess. I bought mine new and its on there. Never really noticed it til you mentioned this heh.

Heh, ok, thanks!  It looks odd, but doesn't look faded or damaged really (and it doesn't bleed onto the front of the cover) which was why I was leaning towards it being like that on purpose.  Glad to have a (couple of) confirmations tho.  So I had a pretty decent haul - I had to go to the next town over today for an all-day conference and as I was leaving I decided I stop in GS while I was up that way.  Asked them if they had any PSP games and it turns out they had a ton, plus a few other goodies.  I picked up (all complete):

Final Fantasy II (psp)
Gitaroo Man Lives (psp)
MGS: Portable Ops + (psp)
Star Ocean: Second Evolution (psp)
Final Fantasy III (DS)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (DS) - I already have this game but wanted the case/manual.  I'll return just the game locally tomorrow.  ;)
Luminous Arc II (case only) - was going to do the same w/ this that I'm doing w/ Castlevania, but it turns out they didn't have this game - they apparently sold it without the case.  So I told the girl all I wanted was the case anyway & she gave it to me.  :P
Trauma Center: New Blood (wii)

Another batch of grabs from the thrift shop, this time being the first I've found actually older games from there and now I have to go look in the toy section every time to see if anything new is put there lol Nothing amazing in terms of the games, though I was glad to get Wario Woods and Sonic Spinball, though I just realized I already have it lol But for a buck a piece, I'm cool with anything for a buck.  Someone else had actually gotten to them before me, but only wanted some of the other SNES and N64 ones there were as I saw him buying them ahead of me.  Can't get em all I guess.

Sonic 1
Sonic Spinball
NHL 95
Bill Wash College Football
NHL Hockey
Madden '94
Hard Drivin'
Lotus Turbo Challenge
World Series Baseball
Pebble Beach Golf Links
Ranger X
Pac-Attack
Wario Woods
SNES Power Adapter
SNES Controller

Nah, that's pretty terribly really.  I'll be the nice guy here and take it off your hands though as it's just not worth the trouble to keep it.

Slightly related... I just picked up the Street Fighter... Deck-building card game! Seems like it could be fun.

Send the turbobooster over here, I'll take special care of getting rid of that one.

I wish there was a bunch of games, I asked the lady about games and she wasn't sure if there was any games or not. She tried to find any but came out saying she couldn't find anything else. This was my first T16 find this year and I hope to find more. (come on Magical Chase) lol  ;)

Haven't hunted much lately, but here's a few things from the past week:

Ridge Racer 64 - $4 from the local game store.
Virtual Pool and World Championship Driver were ebay purchases
3 packs of sealed 5 1/4 floppies were $1.99 for all 3 packs at Value Village
Namco Museum GameCube was $3 and Midtown Madness 2 PC $2 were from a local Salvation Army
Pooyan 2600 $7 from a pawn shop.

Over the past two weeks or so I've been trading and selling stuff (and getting deals from people with Steam wallet) to get the following games on Steam:

Metal Slug 3
Sword of the Stars: The Pit - The Pilgrim character
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Iron Sky: Invasion + DLCs
You Don't Know Jack 2011
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Star Wars: Starfighter
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Star Wars: Pinball FX2 DLC
Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition
Doom 3: BFG Edition

And I still have like $20 in store credit at a digital retailer. I plan to use it to buy the Batman games I'm missing in the next sale. :)
