November 2020 - Recently Added to Collection/Recently Purchased New

I was contemplating getting that Super Mario Bros. Game & Watch, but other than getting it for nostalgia's sake given Super Mario Bros. was one of the first console games I ever played, and happens to be a big part of my childhood, there isn't really any worthwhile reason for me spending $50 plus tax on something I'm surely just going chuck in the collection seeing as I will most certainly never even play it on account of my gigantic hands.

I waffled on it all day long.  Especially after the first few places seemed to have sold out rather quickly.  I decided that if I saw one later in the day I'd get one just for posterity's sake.  Then turns out today Amazon still had loads left.  I don't really regret it, as I wanted one, but I do regret being put into "panic mode" over it.

Picked up Pikmin 3 Deluxe from my local independent game shop, the owner, who's a really stand-up guy, even allowed me to have a few Spiderman (Miles) posters and a floor sticker which I gave to my nephew (who's hooked on it). Pikmin 3 is one of my all-time favourites so I'm delighted, been a good day all round.

You got a point. It also helps that evidently they will stop stock after March like Mario 3D All Stars

Didn't do Doorbuster nonsense with stores yesterday morning but went around to a few places in the afternoon/evening. Some places had good social distancing, others not so much (looking at you Target). I thought I had a lockdown on Luigi's Mansion 3 for Switch @ Walmart for $30 but it rang up regular price at like 6PM so I left it there. I would have figured the price was good all day but apparently not.

Gamestop's new layout/design made it virtually impossible to shop their B2G1F sale.

I actually got the RE3 deal on BestBuy.com last week when they first started. This year's Black Friday deals were horribly staggard and there weren't nearly enough good deals on things. A few games being the exception, I saw almost no good deals on other items such as kids toys. I feel Black Friday as it was is dead.
