A day of grief and regrets...

Today is 9/11... A very sad day for America. I wasn't directly affected from it but it's still a dark day for many.

I remember watching the coverage of the first strike on tv when I lived in New York (upstate). Then right in the middle of the reporter talking a second plane hit the second tower. Right on camera.

It was a sobering experience.

It's crazy that it was 13-years ago. I was a freshman in high school when it happened. I had just got to my geometry class and my teacher was freaking out about how a plane crashed into a building. We all went to the library where they had the coverage on one of the TVs. I saw the second plane hit and the towers fall.

I remember I was in my 9th grade English class when I heard about the events.

Also sucks that it was also my friend's 13th birthday.  Didn't know it at the time because of the tragedy, only learned about the information much later.

I was living in north Jersey (~ 20 miles or so from NYC) that day - I could see the smoke/dust from my deck in the aftermath.

1st I cried,

then I got pissed off...

...I'm still sad - and angry  :'( >:(
