Finally came in today

Picked up the Castlevania Lords of Shadow Collection on PS3. Adding another title to the Castlevania collection and now I have Lords of Shadow on 3 platforms... Even though I'm not a huge fan of the game.

Lords of Shadow is one of those games that you either love or have I feel like. I personally loved it, especially the first one. The second one was meh though imo.

See. I liked what I played of Lords of Shadow 2 a lot more than I did of the first one. But I loved Mirror of Fate, can't wait  to play the HD version in this collection.

I also turned off QTEs in LoS2. And I think it make the game a lot more enjoyable.

The thing that sort of spoiled LoS2 for me were the forced stealth portions and the final boss/ending. But overall I'd give it a 7/10 overall. QTEs never bother me (Shenmue is my favorite game after all :p), but that's cool you can turn them off, did not realize that.


I've never played Mirror of Fate, but hear it is really good. Hopefully you got the LoS Collection new; I bought it used thinking the extra content was on disk, it is not . It is a code that can only be redeemed once. Really pissed me off.

Oh ya. I got it new, it was marked down to $15 at my grocery store. Once I heard that it was LOS packed in with DLC codes, I knew I'd need to find it new.

No lines in the screen I hope? I have a couple Game Boys sitting in a box that I'm saving for parts, because the screen on my original was getting full lines of dead pixels.
