Starting into DMC (The reboot), and so far it's pretty good.  I can see why fans of the original might be annoyed by aspects of it, but I never really played the old games, so I'm going in without that attachment.  It's still crazy, over the top, action with a great style to it and the gameplay is interesting in how you switch back and forth between weapons, though I heard it gets way harder later on in dealing with that kind of stuff.

I'm a couple hours into Xenoblade X, I'm having a hard time getting into it while playing another really dense game in Monster Hunter, I may just try to finish that up before returning to XCX. I'm at the four star quests in MH.

Played a few rounds of that new Fortnite: Battle Royale spinoff mode, and yeah it's basically what anyone would expect.  It's Playerunknowns Battlegrounds, but sloppier, cartoony, and more arcade-shooter like, with some crafting put in.  The crafting element could be what sorta sets it apart, where I assume towards the end, you could build little forts as the circle shrinks, as you can find traps and such.  Otherwise, it's nothing particularly interesting.  It's in a fairly early state as it's clear this thing was hastily made only a few months ago, so it seems abit basic right now.

On the flip side, it is Free To Play, so I can't be too bothered by it lol I'm curious what they'll be selling to justify the game being F2P.

I've been replaying Xenogears as of late. This is the first time I've played the game since 1999. I'm having an absolute blast. There are so many little things I'm picking up that I missed last time. I forgot just how much stuff they throw at you from the moment the game begins.

I may have to nix my idea of playing something horror related in October because I'm having too much fun with this.

I've been playing a little Pokemon Moon again. I have so little time to play those other big games that I have going on that playing something quick and easy has been my prefered method of gaming lately :/

I was tempted to fire up my copy of Sun again after picking up the Ash hat Pikachu the other day (which, by the way, is ADORABLE).

Haven't been playing too much outside of FF14 right now, but am tempted to fire up Culdcept Saga. Got it a long time ago, but after seeing some good remarks about the upcoming Revolt, it might be nice to try one of the other Western releases from the series.

Would like to say that am currenlty playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D but have been playing like crazy Animal Crossing New Leaf, this is the first time that I ever played a game from this franchise and totally love it can't even believe that I practically dedicate all my free time to play with this one, yesterday didn't came to the office because of the bad weather so spent at least 12 hours playing  ;D

I don't want to be horny anymore, I just want to be happy

I decided to get the original! I never spent that much time with it the first time around but it might be nice to go back to it soon.

Put a little time into the Call of Duty WW2 Beta and I was actually going to give it some props.  That new objective based "War" mode is pretty solid.  Multi-staged offense/defense gameplay on unique maps, no killstreaks, maximum player count (Still a puny 12, but forced 10 to 12), and actually is pretty good.  It's hardly a new mode for other games, but it's fun here and even introduces some of the building mechanics you would only see in the Zombie mode for putting up walls.  Even kinda lets you use a tank, but it's more of a mobile turret than anything as you just get to be the gunner while escorting the tank.

Then I went to play some normal modes and the game returns to the usual dumpster fire CoD is known for.  Bad spawns, players jumping around and getting easy kills, this includes snipers...Killstreak dumping that rewards the more dominant team, leading to way more squashes and less likely of a comeback.  Hard to recover in a match if the other team is relentlessly throwing artillery and bombs at you.  It just devolves back into most of what I hate about what CoD became after World at War, maybe Black Ops.  I forget if I liked Black Ops or not (It had problems on PC).  It's at least better than the near-future/scifi CoD's, as WW2 is stripped down compared to those, so it feels more like the older ones, but I can't see myself getting into this one...

Knowing how the CoD players are, War will probably just die off and most people won't even play it and that would be the only reason I even get this game...Oh well, I expect to like Battlefront 2 more anyways.

If you guys arent playing Ys VIII, then you are in the wrong. This is the game to topple Ni no Kuni as my top game of all time.  :-*

lol I saw a demo on PS4, so I'll give it a look.  Don't know a thing about it, but couldn't hurt to check it out.  Probably won't buy it anytime soon, being that there's a bunch of stuff coming and I still don't even have Persona 5 done.

*EDIT*
What's the hook of the game? I played the demo and the gameplay is okay, pretty standard action RPG stuff, did the two boss fights which were alright, but didn't see anything else that was like "Gotta play this".

I'm the minority, but Ys VIII is the only game in the series that I actually dropped. It's not good. ;__; It's definitely my biggest disappointment of the year; even more than Valkyria Revolution.

And man didn't that game drop quick.  I saw it for like $10 not too long after release.  Still passed on it at that price.
