Dabbling in Atomfall, basically Fallout if it was scaled down abit, not a full open world, more explorable zones connected to each other which I'm good with.  It's alright so far, I feel like if there's any particular downside is that the combat is abit jank, abit basic, enemies kinda just run at you or they have odd AI pathing, or the combat, particularly melee feels stiff...I guess not far off from Fallout again there lol But like Fallout is built on ancient tech that's just sorta survived for awhile, and this is made by the guys who do like Sniper Elite, which I thought were generally decent games from what I've seen in terms of combat and such, so not sure what is up there.

It's nothing bad or unplayable, it just makes the combat encounters feel abit unsatisfying.  I let Fallout slide on these sorta things because it's like this really big setting to explore, I can be a huge loot goblin, lots of nooks and crannies to delve into, but like I said, this is basically a smaller scale Fallout.  Might give it abit more time to see if it's gonna draw me in more as I can see it being alright.

*EDIT*
Not sure if I'll go back to Atomfall or not, put another hour or two in and it's not hitting right, the slow clunkiness of it makes it drag abit, but I decided on checking out Revenge of the Savage Planet instead and this seems like some good fun.  It's abit of a platformer and survival/crafting game, but real silly and goofy with its humor.  Might stick with this until the Grounded 2 Early Access starts just to give that look.

Castlevania LoS 2

Gameplay is good, music too.
The bosses have nice patterns, but they're not great either and are sponges.
The infiltration phases are ridiculous and useless. Dracula is supposed to be powerful, but he can't even take a simple enemy while beating up big monsters (bosses).

The pacing is atrocious, sometimes forcing us to walk in slow motion and QTEs are pointless.

Realized Blue Prince was on Game Pass so gave it a look, heard it was a decent puzzle game and I haven't really played a good one since like The Witness, which is half a great puzzle game, and then half that is just some garbage nonsense with number problem solving that I hated...but the other half was great lol

Can't say I like Blue Prince a lot, the idea is sorta interesting, where it's basically a Rogue Lite experience, a mansion that changes rooms every day, rooms that you choose based on a randomized selection of three at every doorway, some rooms having either items, or a puzzle, or just a path, or something else special.  You are also meant to take notes to keep track of stuff and honestly just feel like the randomized aspect in a game like this just won't be all that satisfying to me, so probably won't continue on.

Adventures of Alundra, The [DE] (PlayStation)

That's the first action-adventure RPG I play in a looooong time! oO
And the first time I really got into this particular one. I enjoy it so far but believe me: before getting stuck for days at the second dungeon, I definetively WILL look up a walkthrough for this ^^ because I mainly play it to enjoy the visuals, music and dungeon/puzzle designs.

Wasn't gonna play as much Grounded 2 as I was planning, but it's drawing me in hard lol There's a decent amount of content here to start in Early Access, clearly missing stuff still and they haven't even added like 2/3rds of the map, it's gonna be massive when it's all done.  Probably gonna finish up the content available and then call it done, come back when the game finishes in a year or two as I'm very excited for it.

Also been casually trying to get through Five Nights at Freddy's, the first game and it's rough lol It's wild to see this franchise came about from this janky as hell game lol I've become an odd fan of the series over time, despite having never really played the games, I just love the haunted/evil animatronic thing, it's very 80's styled horror with very distinct characters/creatures.  The game is just so rough, but gonna try and get through all the main games if possible.  At the same, I picked up a fangame, The Glitched Attraction, which is more what I like, a proper 3D movement game, and that's been tough, but neat.  Basically a handful of escape rooms built around FNAF.  Think I watched Markiplier play this years ago lol

Stuck in Helldivers 2, i'm having too much fun with it.
I did fiddle around with eXoDOS and the German Language Pack, adding some classics i remember from my childhood, nostalgia overload basically (also first time i got to hear the music in Pizza Connection, since even back then in the 90's that PC i had didn't play the music, that was a problem for ages even with emulation)

Tried to play Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach again, I tried it once back in '23, ran horribly with lots of stutters, refunded.  Thought I'd try with my system, still doesn't run well, refunded it.  Really disappointed as I think I could enjoy it a good bit, but it runs horribly and they never fixed it.

Took a chance on their newest game with the refund money as I heard better things with FNAF: Secret of the Mimic and it's a big step up in quality from gameplay, to visuals, and it runs better...mostly...It's still not running super smooth, but it's not a stutter fest like Security Breach.  Overall pretty good so far, it has a lot of what Security Breach was doing, but just cleaned up.  Makes me wish they'd go back and take this experience to fix Security Breach lol

In between longer sessions of The Adventures of Alundra (PlayStation) whose dungeons can consume a lot of time riddleing around, I tend to distract myself a little playing good ol'

Tetris [DE] (GameBoy) !!  8)

I'm not seriously trying to "beat" this game in any matter, but I just love it for it's genuine simplicity and will consider it the best and most influent videogame of the 20th century till the day my lavish lifestyle knocks me into be box ;*
I already managed to beat my last highscore by 30.000 points, resulting in my all-time-highscore being 110.302 points. Feel invited to challenge and beat it, I'd be glad to have some competition in this just for kicks.

Been playing the Battlefield 6 Beta and it's been pretty great.  It needs some tweaks and content wise it's missing a lot, but it's just the beta and overall the general experience has been so much better than Battlefield 2042.  It feels like a complete game, even lacking the full kits for classes and there only being 3 maps currently.  It's definitely the game I've been waiting on for awhile now as it's been a long time since I felt like I had an FPS game that hooked me in and as long as it doesn't launch with something catastrophic happening, I'll be there day one.

I'm weirdly going backwards in the timeline of releases for Five Nights at Freddy's games, as I've beaten the newest, Secret of the Mimic, and am now delving into Into the Pit, a sidescrolling pixel art game where you have to find items to progress through the game, while needing to hide from threats.  It's got some real good pixel art to it, switching between styles that are either more of a basic retro, but modern, 2D sidescroller style, to more detailed, first person shots of the creepy creature in the game, this was the biggest draw to me for it and it's interesting enough so far.
