Do all of these actually have separate games? Maybe there needs to be something done to make a category for the stand-alone hardware (like the ones that plug into the TV and don't have swappable games) and then categories for the ones that can actually had separate software available. A good example is the Vii...I don't think it had anything available besides what originally came in the box for it. Does it need its own category for that?

I guess I just don't think that half of this list falls under what I would consider "video games". To each his own, I guess...

99% of these have swappable games including the vii

the vii has the VC-1 Exclusives  VC-2 Exclusives  VC-3 Exclusives

I do have a "ZAPiT Games Game Wave" there are only about 10 games or so for it and no controllers only remotes 6 of them to play the games. Also stuff like apple II computers (Apple IIe, Apple IIGS, etc...) should be classified all under apple II. any thoughts? Also I do have a commodore 64 with some games, and 1 Commodore Vic-20 game. Also Sega Pico should be on there. Guess what I'm saying is that some on the list shouyld bein the database and some not.

Just my 2 cents.

I don’t know Vtech education laptop is that really a game system?  I think some of the things on that list are a bit off subject.  I mean come on do I add my 1980s Speak and Spell? LOL

Yeah I hear you, just my opinion doesn’t mean much.  The Speak & Spell also has a cartridge slot and has spelling games. LOL

@killerchameleon: I agree with you. I've got a Socrates but I wouldn't consider that a game system. Yes, it could take different carts and yes, it plays games, but I guess I consider it a toy. Then I have a TI-99/4a but to me, that's a computer.

Maybe toys and computers should be able to be documented on here as well, since they do have games, but I'll have to be pretty bored before I start doing inventory on all that. I need to finish my "real games" first. (I looked the other day, I've added 15 gameboys to my collection since I've updated on here.)
