Did you get the 20% off Prime discount?  I wondered if that's why they cancelled a bunch to sell now outside of the 2 week discount window.

I did indeed get the discount since it was still within the 2 week window.

I wish there was a proper explanation from Amazon about why orders were cancelled secretly. The fact that there was no communication about it makes me very apprehensive about preordering from them in the future.

It's why BB gets all of my business.  BB has screwed me once.  And they gave me a $50 GC and then on release day they had an over abundance, so I was able to pick it up anyway.

man, EU gets the best CEs sometimes... No figure in the NA Bravely Second CE.

Yeah NoA does not handle CE's as well as Europe and Japan. I recall that the Mario Kart 8 LE and Hyrule Warriors LE were exclusive to the Nintendo World store at NYC for the US release, so its was pretty much impossible to get one unless you happened to live or live close to that region.  Europe does get some good limited edition stuff thats interesting; including the Limited Edition of Bayonetta 2 with the artbook, Xenoblade X, and the physical LE of Fatal Frame V, which I want to import since we got shafted on the US only having a eshop release.
