You are shot in a shuttle testing NASAs new untested isometric warp drive. Your destination is a 2 month voyage to the Andromeda galaxy in search of new life, You are equipped with a sick looking  hydrogen particle infused thermoplastic anti gravity space armor and a 3ds XL with a binder full of every game made for the console. You can bring one friend or your girlfriend/wife and You are given lousy space food though like instant mash potatoes and ramen.  and you risk dying because aliens might abduct you and a black hole might suck you into it.  But you are documented as the first gamer to game in space and will go down in human history

Or you can get free pizza from any chain for life. Limit 5 per day. Any toppings.

Of course people are going to go get free pizza; you're pretty much screwed if any lifeform catches your ship since you have no means of protection besides your own fists/ gun.   This is also assuming that NASA would somehow get the funds to develop a warp drive.

When sailors like Magellan sailed around the world, they still believed giant sea-beasts lurked in unknown waters. And they weren't even sure if they'd fall off the edge of the world or not. But they still did it in the name of discovery. I'd take the risk. (I watch too much Star Trek)

Honestly, I was thinking the same thing about this being the stupidest topic ever.  You go through this whole spiel about the equipment and everything, a whole paragraph... and then the other option is a single sentence about free pizza.

I'd take the exploration.  The whole throwing in something about the 3DS is dumb and almost irrelevant, but definitely the exploration.

Also, I'd like to bet money that someone has already "gamed" in space.
