Giant community yard sale in one of the towns I was in today. I decided to pass and just go to one of my haunts. Ended up picking up a few Gameboy Color games I've been wanting. I talked to the owner and was telling him how my buds been buying me bad games to play on my twitch channel. He laughed and gave me two awful games to help with the cause.

Gameboy:
Mary Kate and Ashley Get a Clue (one of the games he donated)
Super Breakout

Gameboy Color:
Bugs Bunny in Crazy Castle 4 (only need two more to have all 5)
Pokemon Puzzle Challenge

Gameboy Advance:
That's So Raven 2 (another donated game)

I also ended up getting two more Super NES hardcases. I'm always on the look out for hard cases for  NES SNES N64 Gameboy GBA or Game Gear. I think I've bout tapped out my local shops though.

Yesterday, i've hit the usual stores in town but didn't find much, i still came back with Rodea: The Sky Soldier for WiiU (new & sealed, was on sale for 7€) , a few Skylanders Superchargers (Hammer Slam Bowser & Clown Cruiser Pack for 3,99€, Splat and Splatter Splasher for 2,49€ each) and a Bowser from the Super Mario Mini figure collection for 3,99€.

And this morning i've gone into a little yard sale near my town but sadly twenty minutes after i got there it started to rain and everyone started to pack and leave, i still had the time to hit a few stand before before it start to rain so i don't come home empty handed. I've found a few PC games :

Battlestations Midway
Black & White 2
Civilizations II Limited Edition (BigBox)
Crazy Car Racer
Hits Essentiels Collection 2005-2006
Oni
Overboard
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Stronghold 3
V-Rally 2 Expert Edition

I also encounter a guy who was selling a few MCDonald's stuff for 0,30€ each, i got a big stack of those cheap LCD games (mostly the Sonic ones, 6 of them, Crash, Spyro, Tony Parker and another one i know nothing of), two PC games (Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Medabots) and he even give me an Othello LCD game for free.

Really getting mostly PC games recently. I like the trend.

Riven big box is not new. I used it as a comparison. The discs to the left are also from Riven and are the new items, but it turns out I had them already. the F-15 Strike Eagle II documentation was inside the WWII Fighters box. Monitor and Shelves are not pickups. :p

Not as much this weekend because of the "Con" I went too. Didn't hit many garage sales at all.

Here's what I did pick up...

XBone
- Tekken 7 - Collector's Edition

PS4
- Strafe
- Risk of Rain

VITA
- Risk of Rain
- Gun Gun Pixies - Limited Edition [JP]

Wii
- Heavy Fire: Afghanistan
- Transformers Prime
- Ultimate Shooting Collection
- Captain Rainbow [JP]

GC
- Legend of Zelda OoT & Masters Quest (it was only $10)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds
- Pokemon Channel (I always passed on this game because it was missing the E-Reader cards. I finally found one)

PS2
- World Heroes Anthology

GBA
- Warioland 4

GBC
- Snow White
- Alice in Wonderland
- Robin Hood
- Wings of Fury

GB
- Star Trek
- Batman the Animated Series

T16
- Magical Chase
before everyone congratulates me, it's a reproduction.  :-\
It even says "reproduction" on the case and the card looks nothing like the original.
Only bought it because I just wanted to play the game. (one day I'll get an original, one day) lol

SNES
While at the Con someone offered me a trade. So I gave him credit and he traded these two games for Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG.
- Weaponlord (with box)
- Earthbound

"Happy game hunting!!!"

That really surprises me, especially if you live near a large metro area. Contrary to popular belief, the game is not rare, hell I'd say at most it is borderline uncommon. The only reason it goes for the price it does is fanboys going on the message boards in the late 90s and early 2000s and saying how insanely good this game is. Chrono Trigger is amazing, Final Fantasy III is amazing, Breath of Fire of really good...Earthbound is meh at best, especially in comparison. If you haven't played it I'd recommend the $10 for it on the eShop to see if you actually like it. I found a copy of it at a thrift store in 2012 for $5, played it and really could not see what all the fuss was about and sold it.

^ It isn't $400 rare, no, not by any means. But it is rare. Nintendo didn't consider it a success due to it's low sales numbers. So there's not as many copies out there of it as say Donkey Kong Country or Star Fox.

The reason you see it for sale as often as you do is because people often need money and it's a guaranteed seller.

But again, it's not THAT rare. I mean, it's not Hagane.

Sure It's not Hagane but Have you seen the prices of a US copy of Hagane even lose

It has far more value than earthbound not really an comparison if you would ask me it's pretty much 3 times the value of above average sales of a lose copy of earthbound

CIB pretty much the same story.

Sure Hagane is more rare than earthbound but the prices are triple if not more for a legit one in decent shape. cib even in rough shape far more than an excellent cib earthbound.

But you are correct popular items such as earthbound are pretty much always on the market place because they are valuable and easy sales.

It still is a hard to find game nonetheless, if it wasn't popular or valuable it would be allot harder to find even online.

I have to agree with this. I honestly cant understand the interest in EB. Ive given it a decent attempt (around 3-4 hours) and had to turn it off. The other 3 games mentioned I have finished all the way through.

The Frog For Whom the Bell Tolls is actually a pretty decent game, it's got a very good fan translation and I get Link's Awakening vibes playing it.
