A friend of mine who does a lot of streaming got a 1440p gaming monitor, his PC looked great but his PS4 looked awful on it. It stretched the image because the monitor was a 16:10 aspect ratio, but the PS4 is 16:9. The monitor could display the 16:9 image correctly with small black bars on the side but the image still didn't look as good as it does on my TV (a standard 1080 Samsung HDTV) and he ended up buying a 1080 monitor instead. Just curious what model you've got, his was a Dell.
