I went to the Midwest Gaming Classic and had a great time but had an expense I was not expecting on the way home after the show.
While I wish it was an unexpected rare game find, I had a tire blow out on the highway on the way home. A large piece of metal blew across the highway and hit the front tire.
I pulled off the highway and pulled into a gas station I opened my trunk to find some Fix a Flat and then I walked around to see the damage, the tire was in shreds. I left the trunk open and some jerk saw my backpack in the trunk drove up and and stole it while I was looking at the tire. He left the three bags of games right next to it thank god but stole a backpack full of dirty work clothes. lol
I drive a 2010 Camaro and it has 20" tires, the car has no spare only a foam kit. I called a few places near by and no one has my size tire.
So I call my road side assistance and they didn't have a spare to give me so I had to be towed the 70 miles home. They only cover 11 miles so I had to play close to $200 to tow it home. I waited FIVE HOURS for the tow truck to get there and on the way home we are hit with a ice storm, so we where going slow and I didn't get home til after midnight. So today I gotta go in and replace a tire for another $250 expense. So the trip cost me an extra $450. oh well, Least I got a bunch of deals on games at the show. lol
Enough of my troubles lets get to what I got. lol

MVSEvery year there's a guy selling Neo Geo MVS carts there and I seem to always pick up at least one.

SCDI found a Sega CD game I've been wanting and bundled it with another Sega CD game I was missing and made it cheaper.
- Who Shot Johnny Rock?
- Android Assault
SNESI seemed to have picked up a lot of SNES games this year. First was a vendor who had a tub out full of $1 games. I rummage through it and found a stack of sport games I was missing. For $1 I'll buy any game I'm missing. lol
- Madden NFL 98
- ESPN Sunday Night Football
- Sports Illustrated Championship Football & Baseball
- Waialae Country Club

- World Heroes 2
- Chuck Rock
- Rival Turf
- The Jetsons: Invasion of the Planet Pirates
- Run Saber
The last table I visited was a guy selling his complete SNES collection and his prices where all under the going value. He even had a copy of that Mountain Bike Rally & Speed Racer combo cart. (it was $1900) By the time I got to him a lot of the rarer games I could afford where gone. I still got this stack of games I needed and got a bundle discount on top of the cheap prices.
I wanted to get a lot more from him but I was running out of money to spend.
- Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
- No Escape
- Arcana
- Speedy Gonzales
- Rocky Rodent
- On the Ball
- Jim Lee's WildC.A.T.s
- An American Tale: Fievel Goes West
- Mr. Nutz
- R-Type III
I put a huge dent in my SNES collection from this expo.
