before I cut back, about $1k a month.  After cutting back, $200-400 a month depending on what's released.

This last month... about $800.  I went overboard.

24K a year to spend on video games must have been pretty sweet.

That could pass for a deposit on a house where I live.

Depends sometimes I spend like 20$ a week other times I spend around 100$.  If you take into account what I sell I am either breaking even or making money.

Well working sucked really bad but I did make some realy good friendships with the owners of my local mom and pop video game store.we even vacation together sometime and they employ my 2 sons now too.

Hard for me to know...Probably somewhere in the 500 bucks range a year on average, probably more.  I trade games in, buy on sales, so its hard to fully figure it out.

I keep a pretty tight budget, but I almost always spend more than I intend. But I almost never go over $200.00.

I also don't have a data plan on my phone, netflix/hulu/amazon, and my other hobbies (hiking and outdoor stuff) are generally free or less than a few bucks a month. It's literally one of the only things (outside of bills) I spend money on. I could honestly afford more, but... my wife would kill me...

I used to spend a lot, to the point where I spent about 1/2 of what I made, I got burnt out and quit collecting cold turkey for about six months. Sold some things I'll never use and since then I got a new job where I make a lot more and this year I've spent on average 72 dollars a month on games. That average will go up by the end of the year as I've got several games preordered but not by a whole lot. My goal is to get my money's worth out of everything I buy, and so far every game I've bought this year I've completed.

About 3 or 4 years ago probably around a grand a month, but now probably between $100 and $400. There is very little in terms of retro that I really want which is what really jacked the cost up several years ago. I typically only buyer newer games, which while expensive, come out far less frequently than having over two decades of games of games I wanted. I also have been selling little bits of my collection off here and there which offset what I spend on games as well.

I only spend about $30 a month max. I haven't even been making that. April was $22ish and May was about $6. I did preorder Cosmic Star Heroine which was 35, but that's the most I've spent on a game in a little while actually.

I don't keep track. My paychecks move as possible:

1- savings (always pay yourself!)
2- Bills
3- Needs (food, clothes, etc.)
4- Wants. This is where games come in.

By the time I'm buying games, all the important stuff is paid for. Any money being spent on games is not money that needed to go anywhere else- so, I don't think it's really worth tracking.
