For me to want to see a band live, I REALLY have to like them, like as in they have to be a top 10-band for me. I generally don't like being around a lot of people in a tightly crammed area; it makes me pretty anxious and it's obviously pretty uncomfortable. With that said, I either have or would like to see the following bands live if possible:
My Bloody Valentine: I've actually seen them twice, once in 2009 and again in 2013. By far the loudest fucking concerts I've ever been too; I actually thought I had permanent hearing loss from their first show.
Lush: This is my favorite band of all time, but unfortunately they broke up in 1996. They did get back together for about a year in 2016, but played very few shows in North America, and ended up canceling about half of them anyways before breaking up, again. Still, I'd love to see them live even if it will never be with their original lineup (Drummer killed himself)
Curve: Another band I'd die to see, but they've also been broken up for nearly 20-years now. All the members are still alive, but from what I've read/heard there is a snowball's chance in hell a reunion will ever happen.
These next ones are pure fantasy and 100% impossible to happen for one reason or another.
Pre-2000s Republica: They were such an amazing band in the 90s and while they are still together, age and band members going their separate ways have really dampened my desire to ever see them live.
Sneaker Pimps w/ Kelli Ali: I guess this one isn't impossible, but it might as well be since the band with Kelli Ali being the front women was super brief and the founder of the band seemed to get real butthurt that she was instrumental in the band rising to fame in the late 90s.
Nirvana: This would have to be with Dave Grohl, Chris Novecelic(SP?) and Kurt Cobain. Ideally I'd want to see them during their heyday in the early 90s. I've actually met people that saw them live during this time and they talk about it like seeing God or something. I'd absolutely love to see one of their shows back in 1992 or around then.
Mechanical Animals Era Marilyn Manson: Mechanical Animals is by far my favorite Manson album and I used to have a vhs of his world tour while promoting this album back in 1998 and 1999. Unfortunately the show in Denver was cancelled in 1999 sue to the Columbine High School shooting, but even if he hadn't cancelled there is no way my parents would have let me go. I'd have to have a time machine to do this one. I liked Holywood, but sadly everything after has been mediocre or just straight up trash imo. The guy really lost his way, but was amazing back in the 90s.
