Looks like there is a huge pinball show going on this week in Michigan. Starts on Thursday and runs til Sunday. All the games will be free to play too. I think I'm gonna go.

Check it out: www.mipinball.com

Actually a lot of stuff goes on here. You just have to dig since they don't usually advertise very well.

You could always move to North Dakota :)

Unlike last year with the CCAG show. I'll make sure to get some pictures of this place while we are there.

I promised pics and here we go! I apologize for the blurriness of a few of them, I turned off my flash so I wasn't distracting people while they were playing. Matt and his girlfriend took some more pictures too and he should be posting them soonish. It was super fun and I think I'll be going annually.

Looks like it was a great time. How many machines did they have?

They said they had 125+ machines there, but a bunch were set up for tournament play. They also had some vendors set up with parts and pieces. One vendor was even showing off a custom made machine that was playable, but I forgot to take a picture of it.

Oh, I see a Space Shuttle! Love that machine :P Almost bought one myself until I realized that, at the time, I didn't have the money for it.

Must have been a great time. There's pretty much nowhere around here where I can go and play pinball (there's an Addams Family machine at one of the cinemas, but that's it), so this must have been awesome.

Were any of the machines for sale? or was this an exhibition kind of thing?

Some of them were for sale. The lowest I saw was one marked for $400, but it wasn't a very fun game. The rest were marked $1500+, with one being marked for over 12k. Apparently that one, called Miss World, has only 4 machines left in existence. Plus there were vendors and such there selling any pinball part imaginable.
