It is a naming rules situation. Both of our naming sources have the title as it is on the entry.

I mean I understand, but in this case those sources are unequivocally not accurate - what kind of course of action do we have here?

It's weird that it's called a "remaster" on PS4 but not on Switch regardless.

It’s because the PS4 game is a Remaster - higher graphical fidelity, etc, and the Switch version is a straight port of the PS3 version.

We can make a common name exception, without a poll, as it does not appear to be "controversial" or "confusing" as with the titles that have had polls. If it makes sense to do it this way, I can add it to the list on the Style Guide.

Digital version of MLB The Show 19 is using physical box art. I submitted the image used on the PlayStation Store to properly represent the digital version and was rejected.

Looks like it may have been a situation where multiple people made the edit. Empovyle put in the artwork on the same day. Did you check the item page after seeing the reject? Sometimes old images can stick around in your cache of your browser... especially since VGCollect does not change image urls.  You can use Ctrl+F5 to do a hard reload on the page and your browser will get all new files and not use any cache.
