I prefer the original releases to the GOTY/complete editions. Some of the games this gen and last had multiple tweaks to the cover art, due to unique character skins from different stores. I didn’t bother trying to hunt em all down though.
The last game I collected the different artwork for was Mortal Kombat Deception on Xbox.

My friends thought I was cool. I was invisible or avoided by everybody else haha.
I really didn’t pay much attention to the “bullies”. I stuck with my circle most of the time and could probably handle myself otherwise.
I got along with everyone for the most part. Beer made my teens more enjoyable as well

Been wanting to pick up Terminator for Xbox. Bestbuy site still says sold out. Would buy elsewhere, but I want my 20% off.

Same here on the PC games. I tend to not want them in the collection.

I’ll usually pick em up. Recently bought Onimusha for Xbox One.
I made the mistake of getting Baldurs Gate I and II though. I was expecting the Dark Alliance PS2 version and not the PC game.

Idk. Maybe Rayman 2 with the watch or beach ball.

Not these days. Gaming is pretty much my only hobby.
When I was younger, still living at home, working a part time minimum wage job, it absolutely made a difference.

We just called it Nintendo.
I do remember my friends Grandma calling it Intendo though.

Had a 2600 at my grandmas house and an Intellivision at home. Prob had about 25 games of each.
My mom would let us pick games outta the bargain bins from Sears, Gemco, Kmart etc. Most games back then on clearance were in the $2-$4 range.

I find myself playing a lot more arcade games lately and only a handful of console games I pick up. Most you can run through in less than 30 minutes.
It’s rare that I sell something once I buy it. I don’t typically buy lots because I don’t have the time to try and flip all the crap I don’t want to keep.
Most of my dupes will eventually be traded down the road if I ever come across the hard to find stuff I’m looking for.

If it’s not on EBay, I’ll prob never find it. No sense in limiting yourself to an x mile radius.

59
I usually play the ones I’ve never tried first, then I’ll move on to the ones I bought the compilation for. If the games aren’t as fun as I remembered them being, I’ll bounce round some more until I find ones I enjoy.

I keep my games alphabetically by system, but keep the sequels together as well.
I do the same thing for my movie collection. The Creed movies go right next to the Rocky movies etc.
