When watching "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Pack" (https://vgcollect.com/item/209083) and "Pokémon Legends: Arceus [DK][FI][NO][SE]" (https://vgcollect.com/item/215447) in my collection they are named "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond / Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Pack" and "Pokémon Legends: Arceus [DK][FI][NO][SE]".
When watching them in the general database they both show the title correctly.

The names of both titles have been edited recently, and I believe it's some issue with how the "é" in Pokémon was input. I just tried to edit the Pokémon Legends: Arceus entry, but it was rejected.

Marketplace / WTB Golf Story - Switch
« on: August 13, 2019, 08:03:32 pm »
I'm looking for a copy of Golf Story for the Switch. LRG or Best Buy version, doesn't matter. To keep costs down I prefer a used copy, as long as it's in good condition and complete with manual and trading card (if LRG version).

Seller must be willing to ship as "Gift" to Denmark, Europe.

I don't have any buyer/seller feedback here since this is my first attempt at a deal on this forum. But I'll be paying using Paypal (goods and services) so both parties are safe.

Modern Video Games / Is DLC for the Switch region locked?
« on: February 05, 2019, 06:15:57 pm »
I'm new to the Switch and have searched the web for info on whether DLC for the Switch is region locked (as is the case for PS4 and XB1 DLC) or not. Everyone and their mother seem to have an opinion on the matter but I've yet to come across a somewhat straight answer.

I have a European Switch account and since I'll likely be importing quite a few North American releases I'm curious if I will be able to use DLC downloaded via my EU account with these.
I realize that localization could be an issue with some Asian releases.

I also realize that creating different accounts for different regions could be a workaround but I prefer having just one account if possible. Also, since matching credit cards for the different regions are required I believe the only payment alternative is store credit bought from Amazon, Play-Asia, etc, which I personally think is too much of a hassle.
Not that I will be buying much DLC anyway, but often some sort of DLC code is included with physical releases (even though we all know they should be on the cartridge to begin with), and those I want to be able to redeem if possible.

Any thoughts/facts/suggestions/etc.? :)

I have been trying to make a change to this entry for Thimbleweed Park - Collector's Game Box for the PC, released by Fangamer in 2017:
https://vgcollect.com/item/132557
but have been declined twice.

Someone added Limited Run Games as publisher for the PC version, however LRG did not publish this, Fangamer did, in 2017.
Later, in 2018, LRG published the game for PS4 and Switch, and they sold the PC game for Fangamer for a limited time, however they still did not have anything to do with publishing the PC version.

I tried to remove LRG as publisher but the change was declined, and I tried to remove LRG as publisher and adding to the description that it was published by Fangamer (since they are not in the distributer list on VGC), and this was declined as well, along with all the original text in the description field being deleted.

This is the original Fangamer PC release that I added to VGC on 09-18-2017:

Physical PC Collector's Edition now available for non-backers for US$ 40.00

Anyone know if physical console versions are ever coming, and if so, will there be cool CEs like this one?
I just ordered this regardless, love the game and this CE was just too sweet to skip :)

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this great site, just discovered it recently and have slowly been adding/submitting my collection over the last week. Still a work in progress :)
I made the newbie mistake of submitting a bunch of Scandinavian releases marking them [SCN]. SCN is an everyday term used in Scandinavia for Scandinavian releases so I used it without thinking twice, but I now realize that it's an incorrect format to use here. Sorry about that, I will now change those so they have correct formatting.

And this leads to my suggestion; Would it be possible for the original submitter to make changes without having it admin approved first? Besides the submissions I mentioned here I also made a few other mistakes that I discovered right after submitting an item, and then changed it immediately, which leads to unnecessary hassle for the admin who has to approve it, and also is just a "D'oh!" moment for the submitter (I mean, no one else needs to see that I screwed up, right?)  8)

Anyway, this is just a suggestion. Love this site, so glad I discovered it! I also enjoy adding my vinyl record collection on a similar music site, don't know what it is, it just feels very fulfilling going through the collections and seeing them added to the online databases. Yeah, I'm a geek but ain't we all? ;)

Looking forward to spending much more time here in the future,
Cheers,
Medisto
