ModNation Racers. Its one of two reasons why I have been absent from the forum over the last 2 months. The other is lack of stuff that interested me for the time *chuckles*

Is there anything for toys down this way? Like a big toy shop or place that also has action figures? There's kinda some videogame ones I'd want, but don't know of any with any sort of large selection for that.  And not like Toys-R-Us which is all new stuff.

Have yet to find one. Sorry.

Bloody hell. I finally get a collector THAT close to me. Was beginning to wonder if I was the only real collector. Every visit to the stores in this region usually gets the same bug eyed reaction and this response, "You have THAT many games?" A retro store down in Bonita? Heard of it but wasn't sure if just rumor. I get what you are saying about this area in particular. Everything acts like its stalling, when it comes to pop culture. This entire southern section has the potential to become another Los Angeles. But just like old LA in the 40s, it is making a lot of mistakes and holding on to the small town mentality. This in turn makes the area open to a lot of corruptive elements that can easily seize control of the direction the commercial development goes. But I digress. I hail from Lehigh Acres.

Try gamestop

Always gotta' be one; right?  :o

If one wants to choose rape, then at least choose the less painful way if possible *LOL* Play 'N' Trade at least deals in all retro games and systems.

The collection actual worth is easily $800. The price you are offering really helps to sweeten the deal and most likely who ever nabs this would be a retailer themselves. Have you got an email yet from Game Hits in Lansing, Michigan?

Saw 300: Rise of an Empire. It was exclusively in 3D and just as awesome as the first. Oh, there will be a third 300 movie too.

Thanx for the really receptive response Retro. Considering my main two projects is Cerberus and getting old Mac graphics workstations modified into quad processing super internet computers, I have enough no my plate at the moment *LOL* I have already emailed Xlink about the setup process and suggested they experiment with a smaller section of their network. Like the Gamecube network for example and try a modified server variation quite similar to the proprietary servers Google uses. Goggle isn't the only one that can build those things. Then if the experiment succeeds, begin the process of expanding and replacing. This in turn should streamline the process on the user end and not demand as much of them. Not everyone has access to a quad processing PowerMac with dual ethernet built in like I do.

Xlink hasn't put Phantasy Star on their list yet badAT. But they are working on it. Meanwhile Mario Kart Double Dash, as well as Kirby Air Ride and 1080 Avalanche, is already supported.

Hey Brunauss,

Was curious to know if you are part of the Xlink Team?  or are you just a very excited user? lol... either way, very cool.

thanks for starting a thread on this.... i hope it catches on with others on this site.    I myself haven't set it up yet...The setup seems a bit involved.... I think that might hold some users back, as it can be a little difficult to understand the setup process for certain systems. However, I'm sure if you sit down with it and really follow the guides closely, it's not that difficult :)

Not as yet a member of the Xlink Team, but have future interest in doing so. I think maybe a lot of my ideas and concepts, that helped Onlive get on its feet could work for the Xlink network as well. First will have to get familiar with it on the user end though.

I noticed a few people speak about a thread for this one, most of the voices came via personal messages, most of the people over all just simply curious. does this really exist, does it really work and is it really free? The answer to all these questions is yes.

Welcome to Xlink Kai EVO VII. Simply put, its software that installs on you Windows PC or Intel Mac and tells it to behave just like a video game console server, using the Lan Link option imbedded in all online capable console games out there. Again this service is free and when you sign up, kindly take the time to fill out the game list. That way other registered users know what you got and thus organize online game sessions a lot faster that way. Now I leave the floor to the rest of you and here are two stater links to get your feet wet.

Cheers

You know, as more and more of these Wii titles end up abandoned, it wouldn't surprise me if Xlink Kai adds a Wii section to their server network. Just in case your saying "Who?" or "What?" check them out here:

That seems so cool, thanks for linking!

I found a lot of people outside the UK either don't know or just finding out about it. Such a shame Nintendo is pulling stunts like this, while Microsoft and Sony simply expanded and upgraded the existing network to keep everything running online. Will be missing you Mario Kart.
