Hatsune Miku PDf and Hatsune Miku PDf 2.

How did you preorder them? They've already released. ???

By...going to the Game Stop and saying to the clerk, "I'd like to pre-order [fill in game name here]". <__<

EDIT: I'm saying that before they were announced, I had them on pre-order. So in August of 2013 I picked up the first game as a pre-order. In November of 2014, I picked up the second as a pre-order.

Okay, thanks smartass. It sounded like you said you preordered them today since you weren't replying to anybody's post and didn't give any context. Sorry for asking.

Eeeeeassy, there slugger. It was a misunderstanding on both of our parts. <3

Radiata Stories was a fun game. It didn't take itself too seriously yet still managed to keep me involved. I really like how the game paid homage to other tri-Ace (may it rest in piece) titles. Good choice; prepare to lose another 80 hours of your life if you intend to do it all.

Listening to last night's episode was a great way to start my Friday morning. That was the most fun I've had all week. Is that sad? Being an adult is boring, so who knows. Anyway, great topics. We could have probably discussed handheld stuff for another two hours. I'm also glad that I got to share my story and hear some from the others. Getting to know the folks beyond their video game collecting habits is really fun.

Shout out to bad@chaos for reminding us that the Virtual Boy hurts everything; but we need more face! Show us that face and do more dancing! Shout out to fauxshot for the virtual high five and the VLR talk; seriously I think we could have talked for a couple of hours on both that and 999. Shout out to me for cracking myself up. "Call your bitches on the N-gage." I slay me! Shout out to mrnikon for the fantastic photos of him and of the tasty looking fish in a jar. Also, for those impressions. Shout out to redblaze for DAT SWORD and the twinsies moment that involved Tales of Hearts R!

One thing that myself and fauxshot forgot to mention is that if you are interested in the 3DS version of Virtue's Last Reward, beware of a game crashing bug. Don't save your game if you're in a puzzle area because your game -WILL- crash. Just a warning. ^^

Thanks again for all that participated! I had such a great time!

I pre-ordered both Miku titles. I totally got my money's worth.

Just checking in, my wife had to go into the hospital this week. :( She's doing a lot better now, should be coming home tomorrow, and if so I'll probably be around here some more this weekend.

Hope everyone here's still doing well! :)

I'm glad all is good.

Wines get sweeter with age.

Retro Reload episodes get better with each episode. Great job, everyone! I'll be re-listening to it tomorrow and post the usual thoughts. ^^

Are you talking about Project Mirai? That's due to come out next month.

No, Project Mirai is still another one of Miku's games. I'm talking about IA/VT Colorful for the Vita. It releases in Japan late June this year. I'm importing it because (I'm fairly certain) the producer said it was very unlikely that it would get localized. It looks pretty amazing from what I've seen so far.

This is the first time I've heard of it. From what I've seen, it looks similar to the PDFs. I'll give some thought to importing it since importing new is really -REALLY- expensive.

Thanks for the information!

EDIT: You know what? The more I looked at it, it reminded more of Gitaroo Man than the two PDFs. Now I'm even more interested.

Meiko is my favorite. Her featured songs are fantastic, but I just love her overall design.

I'm super excited about the topics we have in store for this week's East Coast version of RR. RR stands for Retro Reload. It also stands for Red Ring, Rosanna Rosannadanna, and Rick Roll'd. But, for the purpose of this post, it'll stand for Retro Reload.

Also, a friend of mine on another site said he'd love to be a guest during one of our episodes. Not only is he a cool dude in his own right, but he has some neat connections. I'll talk more about him on the FB page. It should be fun!

Anyone I know; hmmn?

Check your inbox. ^.~

Finally finished with Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart. Both endings were well worth the effort. The normal ending had me laugh whereas the true ending filled the gamer part of my heart with joy. I really hope some of the generals return in future Neptunia games. On the other hand, I hope it becomes easier to raise Lily Ranks. That was awful. @_@

As for what I'm going to conquer next...I'm at a toss up. I have the following competing for my attention:

Romancing SaGa 3
Dark Cloud 2
Ys V

Before I start another RPG, I'm thinking of playing Strider 2 to break the RPG-ness up a bit.

Oh my gosh! The encounter-rate in Breath of Fire for SNES is freaking INSANE!!! It's like Dragon Warrior 1 encounter-rates, but a much larger game. It's a chore just to travel from town-to-town (at least the first time, then I spam that Warp spell, lol).

Breath of Fire or Breath of Fire II? Breath of Fire's encounter rate was about average, and you could buy the Marble 3 item for super cheap that prevented encounters.

Breath of Fire II on the other hand...ye gods.

I just played through BoF II last year, not too long ago (the SNES version). BoF is like every few steps another encounter. It's much worse than BoF II.

Wh-what? Were we playing the same game? O_o It's been a hot minute since I've touched either title (both versions), but Breath of Fire II's encounter rate was abysmal in comparison to the first one. Neither the Smoke item or the Smoke spell helped matters, either.

It's part of a list of reasons why I favor the first Breath of Fire over the second.
