As I try to find more gaming podcasts to listen to while working recently I really have found a lack of collecting/retro gaming podcasts. A lot of the ones I find are winding down or really aren't that great. Would anyone be interested in starting one? I'm down for being a special guest! LOL. BTW I'm East coast. One thing you got to be careful of is having too many people on, or even rotating in too many people because it could be hard on the audience if its basically a different show every week.

I can handle the facebook page. Matt, Scott, and I are the only ones that have access.
I'm thinking maybe we make this it's own youtube channel Also. This way if any of us want to get together say for example during E3 and want to do a damage report on it we can without needing certain people's passwords to make a podcast and it will definitely help if we'really splitting it east/west. Also if we ever just want to do sort of a VGC VS it would be a place we could upload any captured footage. I know I'm looking into capture cards... if that makes any sense at all.
We also need to figure out a format (assuming its about an hour long)

Intro. 5 mins - introducing the host, the podcast, giving VGC a shoutout
Gaming news - 10 mins (?) discussing all the gaming news over the week.

For example, Link is dead in Majora's Mask, and the game covers the 5 stages of grief(theory). The missingno glitch in the original pokemon games. etc. Doesn't have to be every time, but once in a while it would be interesting to cover it. Granted, it would require some research.

I like that idea. One main topic with maybe a few sub-topics. That way, we won't feel as compelled to move things along at a brisk pace and feel rushed. I just finished listening and here my thoughts.
The Good: Great group, as per usual. I love seeing everyone show off their goods. Except for Shaq-Fu. dashy-poo, we want to gain listeners...not alienate them. ^.~ Also, I really liked how we had lots to say about all of the topics, and then some! The time flew by. Finally, 'DAT SONG!!!
The Bad: When I was recording, some of the others had some camera issues. When I listened today, my sound quality was up and down. I'm not sure what happened. Hopefully things will be better next time.
The Ugly: I forgot to put a poster behind me! The white wall in my background looked like a school photo.

So I've been building a camera/lighting rig over the last couple weeks. I just did a couple quick tests to make sure the sound and lighting is good. I'm in the process of writing a little intro script. I've run into a small problem and I need some help. I can't come up with a good name for the video series. Whoever suggests the best name will get a shout out on the first episode.

I told y'all my internet was trash.But it was good to finally have you on :D . And also having Mr Maximo coming back on for his 2nd show. I love the regular crew, but I always found it more fun when new guys and guys who only come on sometimes join us.
