Then I also got a Sony PSX.

This is basically a rare PS2 with a built in DVR and Hard drive.
It was really expensive when it was released as a Japan Exclusive.

Just got a couple items in the mail
First a Super Famicom System with 1 game, F-1 Hero 94
Only paid $35 for it, its in nice shape. Love how the controllers are so short. lol
Now I have a system to play the other Super Famicom games I've picked up.

Then I got two Tiger R-Zones with 1 game, Daytona USA.
Only paid 99 cents for both of them. lol
All systems worked great and are in excellent shape.
R-Zone is really as bad as people say, I love how bad this thing is. Definitely one of the worst game systems ever made.

Modern Video Games / Re: New XBox Reveal on May 21
« on: May 22, 2013, 02:47:35 am »
Well I for one will not buy this system (at least not at launch)as long as it has the feature of you have to be online and register all your games and you have to pay a fee to play used games. I'm not gonna invest $400-$600 on a console that within 10 years will be nothing but a big paperweight and its games coasters.
And this is coming from a Xbox fanboy, I have over 400 games in my collection, (80% of them i bought new)
I might pick one up after a few years and they drop the price, but only to play the few exclusives. I wont be buying many games for this, and not at full $60+ price.

I really hope theres a huge backlash from Xbox fans and maybe MS will listen, because if they do release the system with this feature, Sony is gonna kill em.
I really want to get this system, but not with the online only and no used games feature. It's pointless to collect. So far I'm getting a PS4 and passing on the (god i hate this name) Xbox One.

Classic Video Games / Re: Mystery NA PS1 Games
« on: May 19, 2013, 02:25:17 am »
I figured as much, But wanted to get a second opinion.
PS1 came out with a lot of discount shovel-ware titles at the end of its life and thought maybe I missed these somewhere.

1103
I forgot all about picking this up today.
Found this complete in box

It looks like brand new, but the people left the batteries in it and theres some corrosion on one of the battery connections and it dont want to work with batteries. but it works great with an AC adapter. Cant complain only paid $2 for it.  ;)

Classic Video Games / Re: TOP RETRO CONSOLES OF ALL TIME!!
« on: May 14, 2013, 06:06:58 pm »
If your gonna get into Neo Geo AES then I hope you have a lot of money to spend on games. lol
Most of the good fighters and shooters are well over $100 and can be as high as over $1000.
Then system alone can run you $200-$600. Japanese (non-modded) models are cheaper. While US and modded versions can be $400-$600.

If cost is an issue then you can go with the Neo Geo CD most of the games are on the CD and are a fraction of the cost. Just gotta put up with a lot of slow loading times.
System model 2 japanese system can run $100-$200 and most games go for $10-$50 (a few are over $100)

Then theres the Neo Geo MVS, You can buy a custom console which will cost about $500 and buy arcade MVS carts carts that play exactly like the AES. You can even switch from AES mode and Arcade modes in the bios. These are cheaper then AES carts but these still can be costly depending on the game. But the most you'll pay for a MVS cart is $100-$200.
