It is not even close it impossible to finding games for most of those systems.  It might be hard to find specific games, but I know of at least 5 stores relatively local to me that I could walk in right now and see walls of games for NES, SNES, PS1, PS2.

And even then, most games aren't hard to find, they are just more expensive than they used to be.  That's what happens when a product hasn't been made in 2 decades or more and it has demand.

I would say the same of Dreamcast. May not be a wall full of them, but plenty of the Dreamcast's library is affordable.

Pet Sematary 1989 -  Brutally gorey and probably has the coolest cat in movie history easily. Church as a cat makes other cats look like Marie from the aristocats. Church is just a yellow eyed beast of the night. 92/100

Omen - Dark movie. Gripping plot. 94/100

"Brutally gory"

Good movie, don't get me wrong. But there's a whole lot out there you still need to see if you think Pet Sematary is brutally gory.

Do you have any recommendations? I'm always open as I been going down the classic must sees horror fans rave about. Next is children of the corn.

But you really don't find it gorey? Gage bit the old mans jugular out like a human moutain lion and when the wife came back from the grave with brown sewer water dripping out of her eye socket it was genuinely repulsive. The brain hanging out of that ghost guy. Even church was gorilla glued to the ground with decay lol.

I hear saw and "human centerpede" are gorey but I never liked the saw franchise.

Day of the Dead (1985) is always my go-to recommendation for a good gorefest. Not only is it gory, but it's also a great zombie movie.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac

I liked it even if a little short, I think they should have made a collection of the 3 games of the same series.

The 2nd one was so much better, though. I enjoyed the first one fine, but I just don't think it will be successful enough for the 2nd to get a remake.

I recently got Red Dead Redemption II, Destroy All Humans 2 Remake, and Gotham Knights for Xbox Series X.

And Collection of Mana for Switch.

Beast - Exactly what it says on the tin.

The Wicker Man (2006) - After about 5 minutes I thought that maybe it wouldn't be as bad as I was expecting. After another 10 I thought it might actually be worse. It takes another full hour before it becomes the wackadoo movie that everyone thinks of it as. Takes way too long to get there, and it's not worth it at all. Atrocious script, filled with actors that have no idea what movie they are in, and worst of all, just boring.

It's been a long time since I've seen the original Wicker Man, but that sounds pretty much the same, lol. I'll def skip the remake.

The original is a classic.  The remake is abysmal.

Pieces - Maybe I was expecting too much? Great gore, decent kills, but pretty sloppy otherwise. No pun intended.

Antlers - Great atmosphere, terrific effects and creature design, but a pretty anemic story.

Night of the Living Dead  (1990) - Solid remake. Changes and updates enough to make it worthwhile, while also mostly keeping to the spirit of the original. Tony Todd and Patricia Tallman give good performances, but it's pretty uneven from the rest of the cast.

Thief - Terrific crime thriller from Michael Mann.  Probably my biggest blindspot in his filmography.   Just top notch all around.

Night of the Comet - Aggressively 80s. Campy and fun with a killer soundtrack.

Spy - Total blast. Changes gears every 30 minutes or so and that keep it fresh throughout. Hell of cast, and they all bring their A-game.

Carrie - Carrie deserved the world and her mama deserved to die. Just sayin.

The Fisher King - This is a mostly great script, elevated by Gilliam walking a tightrope of tonality. The romcom aspects do tend to knock it out balance, with some of the meet cute story not hitting the mark, and being the most outdated part.

Career best turns from Amanda Plummer and Michael Jeter, and Bridges should have been the Lead Actor nominee from this film. Robin would have fit in better in Supporting, but he does get to be a bit much early on. And Mercedes Ruehl 100% earned that Oscar.

Time Bandits - One of those kid-centric adventure films where everything except the kid is engaging. Don't know if I've laughed harder at a movie this year than I did at the Robin Hood sequence.

White Zombie - Not as well-known or as polished as its Universal contemporaries it still fulfills the same progenitor status in history as those films, only for zombies instead of the classic monsters. Well shot with some terrific sets, but some occasionally insufferable sound design. Well worth a watch for any horror history buff or classic cinema connoisseur.

Beauty and the Beast - The older I get the more sure I am this is the best Disney animated film.

Rosemary's Baby - Just an incredible film.  Way better than I remembered it being.

Pieces is very overrated. People talk about the gore-factor, which is true, but the rest of the movie is quite frankly boring.

NotLD remake is one of the best remakes, ever.

And I freaking love Night of the Comet. So 80s. Zombies. And Chakotay!

I was already onboard after the original trilogy remakes were so good. I'm avoiding the showcase so I can be wowed on release day.

Too much running and enemies were far too overpowered. I want to blow monsters/zombies away in RE games.

Definitely this. I love the confidence an upgraded weapon or a more powerful weapon like an assault rifle or shotgun gives you until you run into some stronger enemy type like a hunter and then you feel like a total lightweight again. On top of that I feel like VII at least takes itself too seriously. Although I'd argue 5 and 6 didn't take themselves seriously at all. 0-4 seemed to have that perfect balance. VII just feels tonally opposite to the older games in a lot of ways.

I don't know how you really get that VII is "too serious", it's so ridiculous and over the top with a lot of its influences being Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Saw, and even brings in like found footage horror stuff.  It has a couple serious moments dotted throughout, but that's just something I'd attribute to decent writing and  good acting, something RE as a series isn't particularly well known for lol

But Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Saw are serious as a heart attack.

You can already pre-order Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at Best Buy  :o

I have mine fully paid for.

I love the RE series. I like the old games better, but I still enjoy the newer entries nonetheless. And I love that we're getting remakes of the old ones.

Though I was one of the few that really didn't like VII. Too much running and enemies were far too overpowered. I want to blow monsters/zombies away in RE games.

RE2 is my all-time favorite, followed by RE3: Nemesis. The originals are the best, but still enjoyed the remakes a lot.

Another Shoot'Em Up game I really enjoyed playing was "Truxton" for SEGA Genesis/Megadrive ... I highly recommend it!

Mark from Classic Game Room's favorite.

it's sad that his channel is something totally different now.

was one of the better channels out there.

Yep. Was the original YouTube game review show (at least the first consistent and successful one).
