I went to the big Portland Retro Gaming Expo 2 years ago and had a freaking blast! So worth it. I plan to return, one day. But I'm in Northern CA, so it's a damn long drive.

I'll drop it here, before things get heated here, agree to disagree. Love the site still, not liking the direction of the forums due to them.

Well, I guess it's just one person, really...but It has been a lot and you can't be serious about not seeing it. We've had a lot of longtime members slow down a lot since that one person has infected the forum. And to add to it, instead of banning the troll, we're told to stop when we've had enough and say something to him.

Oh well. I'll just use the website end of it more if we allow such cancer to thrive on the forums.

This forum is really starting to become a bummer. The feel of the place is completely swinging to the point where 90% of threads are about people feeling guilty about collecting and making threads to massage their mental complexes about spending money on games or feeling guilty about how much time they spend on games.

Remember when we were all active, happy, excited about gaming, collecting, and the potential of this website? Remember when we shared joy instead of questioning our hobby constantly?

Only in the cases where it was completely remade (Resident Evil) or I also want a handheld version.

No Your entire existence on this forum is reason enough.

Super Mario 3D World, NES Remix, and Shovel Knight are really the only ones left I'd still want to see.

Fuck yeah!

Finally upgraded my GBA-SP 001 model to the brighter, backlit 101 model! Can't wait for that to arrive. Should've done it a long time ago since the GBA-SP is my favorite handheld.

Other Recent Additions
-Double Dragon Advance (GBA)
-The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia
-Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (Wii U)
-The Lost Vikings (GBA)
-Magician (NES)
-Resident Evil 2 Remake Preorder (Xbox One)
-Super Game Boy (SNES)
-Ys Seven (PSP)

The obvious ones that haven't been made yet that fans all want to see:

1. DC vs. Marvel

2. Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter

Like any other system, it depends on the game. Some games are fun as soon as you start playing like Super Mario Bros. or Contra. Some games are terrible like Conan or Back to the Future. And some games you have to learn what the game wants from you and then it's fun like Battle of Olympus or Castlevania II.

And it's not just nostalgia, like others have suggested. I can get an NES game I've never played, and have fun with it. Just bought Magician for the NES, since I never heard of it. Always happy to check out a new action-RPG.

Don't use them. It takes away from the magic of discovery in a game.

And if I get to the point where I'm completely stuck, there's the internet.

So you can't leave negative feedback for bad buyers on eBay...seriously?!

Buyer bought an item. Then asked me to refund them for no reason of my own. He told me he needed to pay rent (then why buy it?). I couldn't through eBay. So I tried through PayPal. PayPal kept giving me an error page, which I screenshotted and sent to the guy with an explanation before then calling eBay.

eBay then tells me it's because he never started a return. He just messaged me. So he needs to start a return. I tell the buyer that. He refuses and tells me to just cancel the order instead.

So I do so, but also plan to negative feedback the guy...oh but I can't! I'm only allowed to leave positive feedback! What's the point of even having a feedback system?!

I can report him, but when I do it specifically states it's anonymous to the buyer and will be used in any future reviews or then zero consequences for wasting my time and the other buyer's that had it on their watchlists.

BTW, in the help section I was checking because I was getting an error page, it said that cancelling an order reflects badly on my seller great. I'm the one dinged for his dumb-fuckery.

Luigi U would be nice too. I'd also like Yoshi's Wooly World but those are probably the only three that I would actually search for in a store or online or something.

I still need Luigi U and the physical versions of Shovel Knight and Super Mario 3D World (have them digital). Then I'm done. I see no need for an HD Wind Waker, given the art style. I have the GameCube version.

Well they do update the game with a better sail and some of the triforce shard locations, the tweaks make it a better overall experience

Also you can now move while using the bow, hook shot, boomerang etc...

Bought that, too, now...
