Hmm..tough question. I think my English translated Star Ocean Repro on SNES is pretty nice. To my knowledge none of the repro sites actually make it so it's not readily available. It's also a fantastic game to play on the intended hardware.

If I was to go back and say which game is my most cherished based on nostalgia it's probably Super C. I played the hell out of that game with my friends over and over again, even after the SNES was purchased. I have plenty of controller throwing memories with that one.

I took a pretty long break from gaming in my teens (3-4 years). The first game I picked up after the break was Final Fantasy VIII. A friend and I played through it in about a week. That one holds a special place in my heart as well even though a lot of people hate it :)

All 3.

Yeah. While $20 is an awesome price for any bundle I had to pass up the TH game. Sucks really.

Sure, post away.

I was in Big Lots picking up a dvd cabinet today and noticed that they have the two bundles for sale. I don't know if anyone would really care to have either, but $20 isn't much. I have DJ Hero and it's pretty fun if you like rhythm games.

Site Feedback / Simple Rating System
« on: August 01, 2011, 11:24:47 am »
It would be nice to have a simple 5-star rating system for games. I don't even think there would need to be comments. Simply 5-stars and a number indicating the number of people who voted. What do you think?

Site Feedback / Updates?

Haven't seen any of my submissions updated for the past couple of days. Just making sure it's not something on my end that's holding things up.

You guys need to invest in a nintendo s-video adapter. I think I paid a whopping 12 dollars for mine. It works with the snes, n64 and gamecube....and do an a/v mod on your Geneses. I picked a model 2 up with the SCD modded with stereo rca jacks and component video for 30 bucks.

From my experience most images of the box contents images also show the special edition packaging. Just a thought. I'm probably being too anal, but I like everything to be consistent when I'm looking through my collection. Just let me know what you decide and I'll go through my LE/CE items and update them.

I've seen some variations in the CE/LE box art (somewhat thanks to me). The best way to upload them that I've found is to upload a picture of the front and back of the game case (some will be the same as the standard version) and then upload a picture of the LE/CE items that come with the set as a disc/cart image. As soon as Fallout New Vegas for the 360 gets updated you'll see what I mean. I think it flows the best when looking through collections. In some instances, as with games like Splinter Cell: Double Agent, there is a box variation to distinguish the CE from the SE so there would no reason to use up the disc/cart space with anything extra. The box itself distinguishes the difference.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon - Raiho Special Edition is already updated to reflect what I'm talking about as well.

Thoughts?

Yeah, I need to enter in some hardware too. I'll get around to it eventually. This guide book situation is going to kill me. It's difficult to find solid front cover images of a lot of guides. I can always take pictures I suppose.

Well I finally passed the 1000 marker. I still have a TON of guides to put in but that's painful to say the least. I'm fairly certain that I have all of my games in besides PC (of which there are only a few). I'm not including anything that I don't have a hard copy of. I also need to go in and make notes!

I'm just curious as to who has the largest amount of their collection currently uploaded. I've only seen one person so far who has 1000+. I might get there after I finish with my SNES, PS2, 360 and Sega games. I also have 100+ guide books I need to upload. Who knows.
