It looks like a test cart to me. That is, unless it's a reproduction cart.

I still have a ton of PS2, 360, SNES and everything Sega related to upload. I just started browsing through what's already been uploaded and adding what I know I have. That might end up being a bad thing :/

I'm hoping that you'll include the option to view a still (larger) image of the thumbnails that rotate in the game info pages.

I have several stores close by (4 Vintage Stocks, 2 Game Xchanges, and a Play N Trade). I also use forums, ebay and CL. Most of the retail stores have a great selection and are semi-competitively priced if you take shipping charges into consideration for online purchases.

Guess it's about time I posted in here. My name is David. I'm a commodities trader by profession and I collect for anything NES and up. The NES was my first console when I was young and my collecting began several years ago when I was on a nostalgia kick. I've always played games but didn't become a serious collector until about 3 years ago. I really enjoy modding/hacking any little electronic device I can, systems included. Most of the systems I have have been modified in some way. I probably should have chosen a degree in computer science or engineering while I was in school but my job pays the bills and I enjoy going to work so I can't really complain.

I have had the desire to build a MAME cab for several years. Guess I need to get on that soon so I can be one of the cool kids!

News / Re: VGCollect - Now available on your Android phone!

I did some reading up on it. My brain melted... My code experience deals with HTML anything other than that I can't wrap my head around it. I was going to help matt code the Android app at one point but again, head explosions.

I've done HTML, C++ and Visual Basic in the past. Really, the only thing I can remember enough of to properly "code" is HTML. Even that might be a stretch :)

I can still read VB code but C++ has long gone from any memory bank.

We would love to have the app out for ios. The main issue we have right now is neither matt or myself are Mac users and I guess you can't build iPhone apps without a Mac computer. Boo.

I have a mac :) The only problem is...I have an extremely crude (barely fundamental) understanding of how to build an app. If it's more or less dragging in code and popping it into an apple developer tool then I might be able to help you out.

Iphone apps are written in Objective-C, I know that much. I think getting it through to the app store would be the biggest hurdle. Even if you had it complete it would have to be accepted by apple to be posted in the store. If it wasn't, you'd have to use other means to get it out which would require a jailbroken iphone, alternative app store, etc.

Pretty sure you can use Flash somehow to make iphone apps on a PC but I've never messed with it. I'd be willing to bet it's a waste of time.

Ordered a few box protectors from http://www.videogameboxprotectors.com/ a few weeks ago. They were great and extremely reasonably priced.

@scott Sorry but I've already used all of the ones I have. I need to order more and was going to do it sooner than later. I can hook you up when they arrive.

I bought some for NES boxes off ebay a few months ago. I believe I got 10-12 for $10. They are quite nice and I'm 99% sure they were originally made/ordered from that site.

I have 301 games input so far and only have the 100 and 200 badges. By the time I get everything in I should have the 1000+ badge. I'll keep updating as I get to the markers.
