I made a slight adjustment to my game room this weekend. I'm not finished with everything, but here's a preview.
Looks like a Dragon's Lair knock-off...Uh. It's made by the creator of Dragon's Lair. You could call it an evolution of sorts...
(Why the hell doesn't Rick Dyer have a Wikipedia page?)
Speaking of cheap shelving that works wonders. I upgraded my Castlevania shelves to a stack of 4, instead of the original 3! Things look a lot nicer now that they are spread out a bit more.
... And finaly these 2 for 2$ each:
A nice day to remember!
... And... I found this weirdness yesterday at the dollar store that's close to my US hometown's Wal-Mart:
Yes, it's a real game. I think. >_> The publisher mostly specialized in dollar DVDs and softcorn pr0n vids. Go figure...
Big Lots is a good place for random furniture. We picked up a Microsoft "officially licensed" Xbox 360 console entertainment center there a while back. Kinda cool.
Paid $29.99 for put it together yourself shelves that house a lot of my collection from Big Lots.
Man, most of these people are in Utah?!? Why not Detroit or East St. Louis?
Does anyone have the US preorder bonus music CD for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (this one)? I'd love to own it
I wish.
I wish harder
If the guy was getting offers of $1000, I don't fault him for checking it out and going to ebay. From the sound of it, the people offering him money messed up. Sometimes you can really offer way too much.
Sellers can mess up by selling to low or too high. But buyers can mess up too. You call him up, ask to see the games. Go to the house. Offer $50. You will know by his reaction what to do after that. If he says no, ask what he is wanting. Then offer something a little lower. Etc.
Don't email saying $1000. Yeeeesh! That buyer overbid themselves to nothing.
The only problem I have with the 3DS is that Nintendo insisted on releasing the 3DS XL, in my opinion, way too early in the 3DS's lifespan. So now, rather than producing a set style of hardware, they are producing 2 different models simultaneously, which can't be cost effective. Other than that minor gripe, I think the 3DS is a great successor to the DS (which I love), much more so than the DSi.
