Hah, I actually listened to that right after I made that post.  The dude has skills.  His Rainbow Road rendition is my favorite.

Ha. Look at his Castlevania - Bloody Tears. It's incredible.

I can't wait to hear the remastered Moon Theme.

In the meantime...you can listen to this:

EDIT: If you do watch that, watch the MM2 Dr. Wily he does. It's pretty awesome.

Modern Video Games / Re: What Next Gen Games Are You Getting

I'm going to go with the PS4 as my primary as of now. The game I'm most excited for has to be Metal Gear. I mean, it looks like Red Dead Redemption and MGS had a baby. How is that not going to own?

XBO? Meh. I mean, I'm not going to forget that they are totally out of touch/don't care about their primary user base. I might pick one up someday, but it's probably not going to be at launch.

Other than that, I'm going to be a little more picky this time around. I don't have enough time to play everything, so I'm going to attempt to limit purchases to things I actually want to play.

Not hating - but I think the Wii U is already a failure. It's not because there's anything specifically wrong with the console, Nintendo has just dropped the ball on content. I don't really get their "strategy" anymore.

Hot and dry is the only way!

You should move to New Mexico then :)

Rain is GREAT! It makes me want to stay inside and play games.

Checked off Castlevania Chronicles from my list today. Hopefully the loading times don't kill it for me.

Also we have a Pepsi Invaders that will likely get sold online since the rare atari stuff moves much more slowly that other stuff....

I might have a buyer for your Pepsi Invaders. I can get in touch with him if you're interested.

General / Re: What Are Your Favorite Game Genres?

Survival Horror
Stealthy Action games (MGS, for example)
2/2.5D Action Platformers (Contra, etc)
RPGS (Always liked JRPGS, but leaning more towards the western style these days)
Puzzle (Puyo Pop is my fav)
SHUMPS

I wouldn't start investing in SCART to fix your current issue. If you want all of your devices to run SCART for quality's sake, then by all means. However, if you're just going to do it to fix the TV issue, I would suggest investing in a nicer TV. In all honesty that would likely cost less than converting everything into SCART.

Site Feedback / Re: Disappearing Games
« on: July 04, 2013, 01:50:04 pm »
I probably just thought I had more games than I do. Totally a possibility.

Also, out of curiosity, is there a way to view the amount spent on each title? I've been pretty diligent in tracking that info.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I have over 50 or so that have gone MIA. It's going to be a pain figuring out which ones :(

Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I shouldn't have called it a review...it was supposed to be more of an opinion piece/discussion starter.

Not that anyone needs any convincing at this point, but I decided to take a stab at game reviewing. Feel free to give me some pointers!

It could have very well been a combination of things, but I highly doubt EA was too excited to keep pumping out software for Nintendo. It's simply not where they make their money.
