Since i can't get out of my home and my work had to temporally close because of the Covid-19, i'm full time on Animal Crossing: New Horizons (that i had to get on the Nintendo e-shop because my pre-order on Amazon is still not getting shipped, but that's understandable) and since i've received my copy of The Yakuza Collection a few weeks before i'm thinking on restarting the full series on PS4. Also since i have a "lot" of free time i've decided to come back and update a bit my collection on VGC  8).

Hidden Agenda PS4: https://vgcollect.com/item/149246
Cannot be used as an example because the title is in error. Despite the languages that are present on it, it is not the version made for Germany, France or Italy. The user who created this title incorrectly used TLD to represent language. I cannot find a large image of the back of this item and have been unable to determine the country it was created for. I can see that it can be purchased from websites in Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium.

I found a not great but at least readable back cover for that item on ebay (link) but it doesn't tell us anything about where it was released, only that the back cover was translated in 4 different languages (but we already know that :-X), anyway i can confirm that this version couldn't be released in France since it doesn't have the "Attention" red rectangle anywhere on the cover (which is mandatory to be visible on the packaging if a game want to be released in France, the French version of that game have it on the back cover).

I had added BV for Benelux, but now I can't find the source. Apparently Benelux doesn't have an official TLD. I have sticken that from the master list for the moment.

And to re-iterate. The question is whether TLD should be put in alphabetical order or in the order their associated country's language appears on the packaging.

TLD is the country the product was created for. It is not the languages that are on the product

I understand that this was not the initial question but the fact that we use the TLD to indicate the countries where a game was released instead of the languages that are on the packaging should at least be addressed while we are on the subject, or at least we should make it clear the next time we update the Style Guide (not that i want to change it, i totally agree with that otherwise some release would be impossible to differentiate if we only go with the language of the packaging like the Bust-a-Move 2 that annoyed me for a while a few months ago, that edition had the same exact back cover translated in the same six languages for all the different European releases, it even have the French "Attention" red rectangle on every one of them ::)).

It was a pretty busy week for me but i still found some time to buy Yakuza Kiwami 2 and to do a little hunt at a garage sale during the weekend.

PS1
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (it's missing half of the case so no front cover or manual but i only paid 1€ for it so i don't mind especially since i really wanted this game, i really like the PSP version but having the PS1 version will finally let me play on a big screen 8))

PS2
Britney's Dance Beat
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood
ESPN Winter X-Games Snowboarding
GrooveRider: Slot Car Racing
Heroes of the Pacific
The Dukes of Hazard: Return of the General Lee

PS4
Samurai Warriors 4: Empires
Yakuza Kiwami 2 - Steelbook Edition

And the same guy who sold me Samurai Warriors also had a few other PS4 stuff to sale, he had three controllers for sale for 25€ each (still a good price for a PS4 pad) well... two of them were at 25€, the third one was priced at 8€ instead (and it was a 20th Anniversary edition :o), the guy tells me that the battery is dead so he dropped the price to see if maybe someone would buy it for the pieces or to repair it (hell yeah for that price i would gladly buy a new battery and learn how to repair it). After discussing with him and choosing one of the games he was selling (at 10€ each) he dropped the price of the pad to 5€ (for a total of 15€ for Samurai Warriors 4: Empires, the pad and the empty box of the Uncharted 4 Collector's Edition that he was going to trow away, that's where he was stocking his games and since he's selling them he didn't need it anymore).

When i got back home i still tried to connect it to my PS4 but no miracle the pad did not connect to the console (the lightbar did not even light up), i've tried to connect it with an USB cable to my PC to see if it could find the controller (i thought maybe i could play with it on computer while plugged in with an USB cable) and while it didn't find the controller i've had a weird sound on my computer like something was connecting and disconnecting non-stop from it, i left the controller plugged while i was searching google for more info and maybe 8/10 minutes after that the connecting/disconnecting sounds from my computer stopped and the lightbar from the controller was on like it was charging... i tried to play with it on computer and it worked with no problems, i've left the pad plugged to my computer for almost two hours before testing it again on my PS4 and it worked perfectly. I guess the battery was really empty ??? or maybe it's starting to die ? I don't really know but for now i've got a working 20th Anniversary PS4 controller for 5€ and i'm really happy 8).

3DS
Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (Only the cartridge sadly, but finding a Pokémon game i don't have for 1€ is still good for me)

Video Games related stuff:
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter
JeuxVidéoMagazine.com Artbook vol. 5 (i don't buy video games magazines anymore but i make an exception for this one every 8/10 months when they release a special edition with a new volume of that Artbook).

Everything else
It's sadly incomplete but i found the 4 CD set of the Original Soundtrack Anthology from the first Star Wars Trilogy, it's missing the third disc, the one from the Return of the Jedi but since i've only paid 2€ for it i absolutely don't mind (but i will still try to find the third disc online, i've already found a pretty cheap offer on discogs but i'm really afraid on the shipping cost from the US to France ::)).

A few things i found at a garage sales this morning, and i finally got back a DVD i lent a two years ago (even if i had to go and get it back by myself, the face he made when he opened the door, he didn't expect to pass almost two hours of his Sunday morning searching his house for a DVD ;D):

PS4
Elex

PSP
Activision Hits Remixed (without box sadly but hey for 0,50€ i can't complain)

MegaDrive
McDonald's Global Gladiators (also know as "Mick & Mack as the Global Gladiators")

PC
Planescape Torment (Bigbox White Label Edition)
Fallout 2 (Game and manual only, i got it for free since it was inside the Planescape Torment bigbox)

Video Games related stuff:
Gunparade March (DVD - The full series)
Le Cobaye (the French name for "The Lawnmower Man" - DVD)
Resident Evil: Vendetta (Blu-ray)
Hard Corner the Movie (That's the DVD i lent two years ago and it's finally back into my hands. This is a movie made by Benzaie, a French Youtuber that you maybe know for his "Games That You Might Don't Know" series between 2008 and 2011 on Channel Awesome. That DVD was only available through his funding campaign on MyMajorCompany so that's why i'm pretty happy to finally get it back).

Everything else
Ant-man (DVD)
Caprica (DVD - It's just the pilot not the full series)
Independance Day: Resurgence (Blu-Ray)
Thor (DVD)
Record of Lodoss War: The Lady of Pharis (Manga Volume 1 & 2)

I also found this game a while back! mine was more expensive though $3 or $4. but I bought it because it was from the same studio that made Dewy's Adventure (which I also own). although not a great game it will be worth the $5 or less if you manage to find it.

im really not a fan of waggle wands controls...

Dewy's Adventure ? Never heard of it before which means that i would love to play it, the PAL version seems to be a bit pricey for me at the moment (from 15€ to 30€ for a copy) but i will keep an eye for it. I'm jealous, the cover for the American version of Eledees (or i should say Elebits) is so much better, i'm sad that they didn't used that cover for the PAL version (even more sad that they still used it for the manual and not for the cover).

I'm finally back from vacation and i tried to hit the shops i could find on my way back home, sadly i've mostly found overpriced stuff so i have abandoned after the sixth shop but i've still got a few things from a little used shop i've found just after i've passed the Spanish border (the shop was on clearance because it was going out of business :().

PS3
Deadpool
Ironman 2
LittleBig Planet

PS4
The Surge

PSP
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (it's the US version, but i can't seem to find a good price for the European version, this one was only 10€ at -50% off so only 5 bucks to finally be able to play that game)

Wii
Eledees (i've never seen or heard about this game before and it was only 0.50€ so i don't take much risk and maybe it will be a good surprise)

And i've found a few movies (and series) for my Video Games movies collection:
Hooked & Hooked 2: Next Level
Monster Rancher Box 1 & 2 (the first 48 episodes, episodes 49-73 have never been released in France >:()
Nirvana
Red Faction: Origins
Sakura Taisen

That makes me remember that before going to vacation i wanted to create a poll to see what the others users would accept in the "Swag - Promo Videos/ Movies" category, it's been in my thoughts since a discussion with another user earlier this year and while it's becoming an huge part of my collection i understand that not everyone want to have all those movies, not directly related to a video games series or even Anime series based on Visual novels, flooding that category ;D (i will probably do that during the next week after i ask permission from the mods).

Someone is selling that game on NintendoAge and he put a few pics of the spines, they're not direct scan pics but maybe you can work with it (i mean the spines are not really complicated, blue background with the title logo and the FCI logo, the only problem is the left spine i can't see what the other logo is):

Otherwise you can always ask that person if he can get you a good scan of the spines for you, maybe he will agree to (and worst thing that can happen is that he refuse).

Wednesday the summer sales have started in France so i thought it was a good time to hit the shops and i did found a few things (everything was new and sealed).

PS4
Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection (10€)
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition (5€)
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster (5€)
Just Cause 3 (9€)
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (10€)

3DS
Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright (10€)
Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest (10€)
Story of Seasons (5€)

WiiU
Yoshi's Woolly World (12,50€)

I also got two Skylanders Creation Crystal (Water and Magic, for 3.96€ and it was a buy one get one free offer) and i found two amiibo: a Mario (Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary, Modern Colours for 3€) and a Link Rider for 7€ (those Zelda amiibo were normally not in sale but when i see someone filling his cart with all the Zelda Guardians and Detective Pikachu available i started to check the prices and found that all the other amiibo in the shop were at 7€, sadly this was the only one left that i didn't had).

Yeah well for Wordtris, idk if it is worth opening the box, or at least IDK if having it sealed has any real value either, other than it is sealed after all this time. I'm sure the disk image for that game is available online somewhere that you can try and see if you like it. ;)

Yeah i asked around and it seems that the games on PC don't really have a value sealed (except for some particular games), so i think i will keep it sealed for now to see if i can find someone who want to trade it and like you said if i want to play that game, i can find other way to do it anyway.

This was a pretty big week for my PC collection, i first found an offer on Facebook from someone who was almost trowing away his old PC collection (i got almost 120 games for 20€ :o, don't worry not everything will be listed nor shown in the pictures ;)... i haven't had the time to check everything anyway  ::)) then someone who sold me a big lot of PC/Mac/Amiga Big Box last year contacted me again to tell me that he found a few more in his attic (6 big box for 12€, one of them is still sealed... usually i would have opened it already but this one is from 1987 so i'm really hesitating, i will probably try to trade it for a month or two), and finally a few things i found Sunday at a garage sales (a few PS1 and PS2 games like always and then a few more PC games :P, someone had three boxes full of them still new and sealed... almost ten or twenty copies each of the same games but i still found things i didn't had and he even had a few DS and 3DS games still new and sealed in the last box).

PS1

Adiboo and the Green Shadow
Atari Anniversary Edition Redux
Hugo Frog Fighter
Men in Black: Crashdown

PS2

Energy Airforce: Aim Strike!
Enthusia Professional Racing
F1 Career Challenge
FMX: Freestyle Metal X
Richard Burns Rally
Road Trip Adventure
Speed Challenge: Jacques Villeneuves's Racing Vision
Test Drive Unlimited
Twin Caliber

DS

Big Hero 6: Battle in the Bay

3DS

Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs 2
Mystery Murders: Jack the Ripper
Secrets of the Titanic

PC

From the 120 games lot (just a few of them ;)):

Hits Essentiels 2004/2005 (a few games i didn't had like Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness)
Hits Essentiels 2008/2009 (another Tomb Raider i didn't had on pc: Tomb Raider: Anniversary)
Might & Magic: Heroes Collection
Tomb Raider III: The Last Artifact (i didn't even knew that TR3 got another version with 5 more levels and with all those Tomb Raider games i found lately i really want to replay the old series again)
Unreal Anthology
Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War - Game of the Year

The Big Box lot:

Forgotten Realms: Pool of Radiance
Forgotten Realms: Baldur's Gate + Tales of the Sword Coast
Might and Magic: World of Xeen (this is the Mac version)
Les Visiteurs
Papyrus: Le Secret de la Cité Perdue (i didn't knew they made games based on this series, i'm glad since i loved the animated series as a kid)
Wordtris (that's the sealed game, i don't know anything about collecting old sealed games but in this case the plastic seems to... shrink, the box seems to be compressed by it... i'm really forcing myself to resist the urge to tear off that plastic)

And my loot from the garage sales (all of them were new and sealed so the Steam keys worked just fine ;D):

Citadels
Coffret Aventure (Deponia, Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island and Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle. Deponia comes with the physical soundtrack  8))
Dark
Fire Department
The First Templar
Rising Storm
Sniper Elite V2 - Collector's Edition (comes with the first Sniper Elite, most of the DLC, an artbook and the physical soundtrack)
Whispers

I also got three novels on Diablo, a controller adapter for PC/PS3/PS4/Switch (that can connect most of wireless and wired controller to those devices), the Vynil Edition of Good Morning England and a complete version of the Max Payne movie, the one i owned didn't have the slipcover (really cool slipcover by the way, it makes me remember the cover of the first Max Payne game)

Well... it's only show you how much you've spend on Steam and for me that's only a very small fraction of what i've paid for my Steam games, most of what i own on Steam comes from bundles and physical releases (with Steam key inside the box). That option show that i have spend $1,460.61 over the almost six years that my account exist (September 20 2012) but i have ... 4294 games on my account (and i don't even count the DLC since i try to get all the soundtrack i can get) so yeah it's way off the mark of what i really paid.

There are two others site that can calcul the value of all the games you own on your Steam account (they won't show you how much you paid on Steam since... well it's not Steam they don't have access to that data) but if you only buy your games on Steam it could be interesting (and probably disappointing) to compare the value of what you own on your account and what you paid on Steam.

Nothing wrong with that.  Play however you want that makes the game fun.

This. I also often play in easy mode when i only want to enjoy the story (and maybe go for another round in a harder difficulty if i liked the game and if i'm confident about it). So yeah nothing to be ashamed if you are having fun playing a game the way you want.

General / Re: Advice on Signatures (what should I get signed)
« on: June 08, 2018, 04:17:49 pm »
From that list i would go with a Mass Effect (the second game is my favorite but i agree with rayne315, if you already have decided to get a signature on the Mass Effect Trilogy, it would probably be better to choose another game than Mass Effect 2), God of War, Killer7 and maybe .Hack//Infection (it was not the best character in the series but i really liked Sanjuro).

But if I had the chance to go and get something signed by Steven Blum it would be FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, i freaking love that game  8).

I apparently started playing on an Atari 2600 but that's just something my older brothers told me and i can't remember anything about it, my first memories of me playing is on the Vectrex with Clean Sweep, Armor Attack and Star Ship when i was four or five years old.
