Site Feedback / Allow clearing of Developer/Publisher fields on edit page
« on: October 12, 2023, 04:25:55 pm »
Currently there's no way to clear an already-submitted developer/publisher and send it for mod approval, the mods have to go in and remove those fields manually. Please add a way for regular users to submit blank fields for these too.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that barcode edit... I fear that the original editor may have just copy/pasted it from an incorrect website instead of logging it from their own box but we may never know. I can't find any other North American version, they all seem to have the 047875880719 barcode.

Tried to fix this Hard Boiled Flare Wolf listing.
Proposed edit: (cart art)
The cart art is using a prerelease render of what the figure was originally going to look like. The actual release looks like the one in my proposal. Skylanders had a lot of renders like this used throughout the franchise history where the render looked one way and the final product ended up different, usually because the promo material would get leaked or released long before the figures were actually ready. As such, many of the prerelease renders/stock photos should be changed to images of the actual products.
Another reason for this is that a lot of these renders and stock photos (for boxes too) look absolutely fantastic in terms of paint quality, texture, and color vibrancy. Meanwhile, the actual product you get is far from that, especially with the Imaginators line where the final product paint quality is at the lowest point in the series. An example of this is with Chompy Mage, I proposed an edit for the cart art using an image of the actual figure quality ( which was rejected. That render looks great, but the colors just aren't right compared to the real figure unfortunately.
If that figure really ended up looking as nice as that render, it might've justified the extremely expensive price tag (over $200!)  :(

General / Re: Would you replace a Greatest Hits/Reprint game?
« on: September 11, 2023, 06:29:34 pm » is something you might want to check out. They have many replica covers and also custom ones that you can print out and replace the ones of copies you have. Just keep the original covers in a binder or someplace safe. It might just be a better option then selling your games just to rebuy them again.

If you really want to replace them just do it with your absolute favorites. Just keep in mind certain versions of games such as Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition is only available as a greatest hits.
This is actually a great suggestion, thank you. I've been meaning to try this for a long time, maybe now is finally the time to give it a shot before I waste a bunch of time selling/rebuying.

Is there a site like this that scans manuals? I see they have a section for PS1 games but they don't have "covers," instead they have full manuals so just printing out a picture of the front of the manual would be a little awkward. I suppose I could just print out the backs/spines and call it a day lol. That's all that would really show on a shelf anyways.
